And yeah I picked up the fact that a lot of people are from Canada, but it's difficult moving to another country regardless.

Hehehe - totally true. To be honest I've been a working woman for about 7 years and I am kinda enjoying just lounging around, cooking for my husband and hanging out with nephews. I know I will never get a break like this again. I do get bored sometimes but I am working out, cooking and studying! I feel lucky. I know that I won't even get this time to myself again - no 1 year mat leave here :-(

I think the difficulty for me moving here has been the politics kinda, and culture. Its different to Canada! But the sunny cali weather makes up for that.

HI All - My wifes biometric appointment is tomorrow and I was reading the appointment letter that was sent. I noticed they only listed and have barcodes for I-485 and I-765 but I-131 is not listed. We received NOA1's for all 3 on the same day. Is it normal not to include I-131 for biometrics? Does anyone have a copy of their letter that have all 3?

Application/Petition/Request number

MSCXXX6 - MSCXXX9.

I'm guessing it's either all 4 forms included with this with this sign " - ", or it's just for the 06 and 09 forms.

But when I went to the actually appointment, they gave me a worksheet. It had 3 lines to enter 3 application numbers. I entered numbers for I-485, I-765, and I-131.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. She will be in the system, they will use her biometrics info for all the forms attached on her file.

Checked again, I do have 2 barcodes for I-485 and I-765. I guess because travel and work documents are now one card, they put only the work authorization request barcode.

Got married to my US Citzen Wife 03/12/2015

Sent concurrent filing package (I-130, I-485, and I-765 with correct fees and supporting documents) to Chicago Lockbox 02/22/2016

Application Delivered 02/24/2016

Still waiting for I-797 (notice of receipt) and money orders and checks not cashed since then. Anybody else in the same situation? The wait is agonizing, and I plan to expedite my work permit because I had just had a job offer. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I called USCIS right now and he said it could take 30-45 days to update on the system 0-0

but good news is atleast my bio letter will still be sent off even if nothing is updated on the site, thank god <3

I hope you filled out all the forms correctly. Sounds like it's been kind of too long. But it might still arrive within a week?..If not, maybe try calling? But I've been obsessively reading and it takes about 10 days for checks.

You can call them and ask but the usually get mad at you it took me 17days to get NOA emails and texts and then the check was cashed the next day.

It seems like yours is taking longer than usual, but that may be because you're adjusting from an F1 while most of us here are adjusting from a K1. I think there should be other threads that match your situation.
