It normally takes 10 bus days if u mailed it to lockbox , it's only been 5 bus days for u so far

It takes a couple of takes for them to get back to you, don't worry, they'll send a txt/email. Maybe any day now.

I had sent my AOS feb 25th... they received on the 27th and cashed my check on 3/3, i got my NOA1 Text just now should have my hard copies in the mail very soon.

Sooo, I just received my texts and Emails saying the case was received. On a Sunday night, at 11:40 EST, I am kind of laughing, as I was not expecting that!

I got my letter for Request for Initial Evidence (I-485) today.

Says:

1) Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, was submitted; however, Page 3, Part 4 of the petitioner/sponsor's Form I-864 list someone other than the petitioner/sponsor or Page 3, Part 4 is blank.

The name where I should have put my husband's name is indeed blank, everything else (address) is filled... sigh

Submit a completed and signed Form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on Form I-130 or Form I-129F. Even if a joint sponsor will be used, the petitioner/sponsor must submit Form I-864. Also, provide copies of the petitioner/sponsor's most recent Federal income tax returns and all supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules)

We provided tax returns and supporting documents the first time, is this just because we're resending a new I-864? Since we sent the original package my husband has done his taxes... would 2015 be considered the most recent tax return now? Can we change the new I-864 on page 6 Most Recent Income to be 2015, even though the old one was 2014?

2) Form I-864 Affidavit of Support was submitted from a joint sponsor; however, the names listed on page 1 and page 3 are not the same.

We did not submit from a joint sponsor, I don't know what this is about, perhaps because of the previous mistake of me leaving my husbands name out on Page 3?

Also, for the cover letter, where I wrote ORIGINAL SUBMISSION, what do I change that two? Revised Submission?

I guess something like "Revised Submission in Response to a Request for Initial Evidence" would be appropriate, so it's clear.

I am thinking that receiving your ROE letter means that the USCIS office is actually reviewing case. It's kinda' hard to figure out if there is any movement with your AOS application when there's no regular update on the CIS website -- weekly update would be nice but that's wishful thinking. Just like everyone here, I am anxiously waiting for the next step and eventually get that green card painlessly... Sometimes, I freak out in the middle of the night thinking that I've forgotten to fill out something on the form or maybe forgot to sign a form or missed a required document. It's a good thing I took a photo of every single page and every document I included in my application, so I'm able to go back and check what I submitted.

I just tried and sadly no not yet, I heard for some people it took a month to work and the USCIS is no help so my goal is to watch the mail like a hawk

I ain't worrying, from what I notice ppl get the bio letter in 2 weeks of the NOA1 email so we should get ours latest by March 17

Update:

Received biometrics last Friday March 4th, scheduled for March 15th.

Tried to do a walk-in today at Denver (E. Colfax support center)... not as successful as I had hoped.

Was told that I could do it any day but only between 1 & 2PM - great news except I'm leaving the US for work and will be back in Milwaukee next week.

From what I've seen, Milwaukee has had successful walk-ins, so I'll try next Monday/Tuesday. Cutting it really fine on the biometrics date.

I'm tempted to mail in a request for reschedule because if Milwaukee denies me, I won't have time to request a new date.

Either way ... probably going to cause a delay in the overall process.

I was sitting at the computer, playing video games, so my phone was charging on the coffee table, next to my husband. It started going crazy with text and email notification and hubby picked it up. We both were wondering what the hell was going on! Then, he read my messages and saw it was USCIS.

He thinks they work on weekend to pick up the slack, me think their system is slow as hell.
