FEB 13 AOS SENT

FEB 19 RECEIVED

FEB 23 MAIL SENT

MARCH 3 HARDCOPY MAIL AOS AND AP - RECEIVED

QUESTION is I Dont receive the EAD Hardcopy of notification mail.. should i be worried.?

No need to worry. My three letters came last week, but my i131 receipt arrived last night, delayed for a whole week. I checked their mail dates which is the same. So, yours might get lost or delayed. I called USCIS last week, they said all you need to know is the receipt number. If it was lost, they would not issue a duplicated one for you.

Thanks everyone, good to know he's not the only one feeling this way. Hope you all get EAD soon!

@iPod: Nope, there was nothing scheduled. All they said was the Seattle field office was handling our case, and that there was nothing new but they're aware of our case, so we should expect to hear back in about 30 days. :(

Keep the faith, and I truly hope the ball gets rolling soon for your AOS. :)

Ditto I binge watch Netflix all day watching Scandal right now it's pretty good and

Question is the three months to get EAD/AP start after biometrics or from when you file ?!

Totally understand I'm going crazy !!

Ditto again. I'm actually at the point where I've run out of anything I would care to watch. Not a good place to be haha.

The fact that I'm going stir crazy is actually putting quite a bit of a strain on my marriage as well. When I first got here, it was so easy to fill my time - I was cooking loads, reading books, cleaning, catching up on TV shows/movies, etc and now I don't care for any of it. Really trying hard to remain positive and remind myself this is just temporary but damn, I feel like I've reached a breaking point. /rant

Just be patient everyone :)

I know it's frustrating and it can seem long.

My parents had to wait 13 years before becoming residents, and I myself about 14 years. I am still in the process but I got to keep my head up high and my faith strong.

This too shall pass.

And everyone here will get their GC's and later we will become contributing citizens, so don't be anguished :) let's try to remain positive !

Let's try something, why don't you all tell me what your plans are for when you all receive a green card!!

My plans are to enlist in the Marine Corps and finish off my 2 years of nursing that I have left :) by doing this I can skip the 5 years I have to wait to become a citizen down to a couple of months!!!

I then plan to re-enlist as an officer when I have my bachelors degree. I love this country like no other! And I'm ready to prove to America and USCIS I would be a perfect model, contributing citizen :)

Package sent: 9/08/2016
Received: 9/10/2016
Checks cashed: 9/15/2016

Text/Emails: NONE!!!
NOA in mail: 09/19/2016 - Notice date: 9/14/2016

I'm taking dental Hygiene school to be a hygienist graduating in June from my bachelors degree in Canada Biology Major. Then hopefully in the distant future become a dual citizen because I love Canada and my American husband hehe!!

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

I'd love to finish writing my thesis and getting my Master's in Physics this year, get a job to save up a little bit and either go to Nursing school or join US Airforce if i get a permanent card for 10 years right away. I always wanted to be in the military.

Hey MASH, my check was just cashed! We should be getting texts soon :)

Is anybody on here the original petitioner? I'm surprised at how many foreigners are going through this process--it's difficult to translate English legalese into clear instructions. Kudos to you all! My husband is french and is actually loving the fact that he's not allowed to work yet--says a lot about the french lol ;)

It took 17 days to get my texts and check cashed people who sent away the same time as me got their texts weeks before once I got my texts I tracked on USCIS and they received my stuff on the 16th and made me wait tell the 29th to tell me quite a stressful wait.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!
