What does the update fingerprint fee received mean does that mean they've sent biometrics or is that just the first update for the I-485 ?!

Good luck !!

It means they cashed your check and will be sending you the biometrics appointment letter soon.

We filed on January 29th and still don't have a biometrics appointment. When I called USCIS, they said it was normal to wait 2 months for a letter, but you can call once it's been 30 days and they might try to speed things up for you. Gonna call again today since it's been 33 days for us.

Well, I just got off the phone with USCIS. They took down our info and let our local field office know that we're waiting for a biometrics letter. However, even with this call they quoted us another 30 days, so it looks like we're gonna have to wait the full 2 months anyway. I guess there's nothing more we can do. I just feel terrible that my husband will have to wait even longer for EAD. He's getting so restless not being able to work. Maybe others adjusting from K1 can relate.

They didn't schedule a biometrics yet? I know that when I called, the supervisor said it can take 60 days, but then he checked it out and it was already scheduled.

I hope it starts going faster for you!

I am going stir crazy here. I miss having a work routine and actually DO SOMETHING during the day! Plus, money is thigh and it frustrates me not to be able to help.

I've been binge watching nextflix, playing xbox and try to go down in the village (Down the hill, yuck) once a week. What gets to me more if how I've gained weight because of my change of lifestyle.. I used to walk to go to work and be on my feet 9 hours a day.

We actually planned a week in Orlando in April. Nice change of scenery and some alone time away from work and family drama( I call it 2nd honeymoon haha)

Still waiting on my NOA, it was received on 2/25 so it should be soon. :clock:

Thanks everyone, good to know he's not the only one feeling this way. Hope you all get EAD soon!

@iPod: Nope, there was nothing scheduled. All they said was the Seattle field office was handling our case, and that there was nothing new but they're aware of our case, so we should expect to hear back in about 30 days. :(
