Think of it this way.

USCIS can't and won't approve anything until the FBI sends them your records, which is why we do biometrics.

So the faster the FBI can get your prints, the faster USCIS will get them, and therefore faster you can get your documents.

When my parents walked in to their biometrics last year , they received approval of their EAD within 3 weeks.

That's great then! No matter what, it can't hurt if you go in early.

HELLO guys and gals

I'm fairly new to this forum which I find most informative, although, I have been a ghost follower for part of last year during my husband's Naturalization process.I'm not sure if I'm on the right post as I know there are sometimes separate posts for K-1 filers and tourist filers.

I'm adjusting from a tourist visa.

Package Mailed: Feb.25th

Delivered via USPS Priority: Feb.27th

Did not send a notification form so I'm simply on that snail mail alert for now.

I mailed mine out the same day and it got delivered by yesterday as well, I'll let u know when I got my NOA1 so it gives u abit of a heads up on urs

Gonna call tomorrow to see about my NOA still waiting on it and it was delivered on the 16th. Frustrated is an understatement.

Thank you for the support this website literally is the only thing I have to hold onto my husband understands but I feel like he doesn't get how stressful this process is because he can still work and do whatever he wants. I have to say I'm so happy I'm finally here married to him but it's hard being in this in between stage !!

Hey Guys!! T And I are ready to file our AOS documents ( I-765, I-485, I-130 and G-325; hopefully Wednesday) However, we are a little confused on ONE question. I came to the US on a B2 visa so, for question 17 on the I-765 (eligibility category), what option do I choose under "Who may file Form I-765", is it (a) (9) or c (9)? PLEASE HELP!! Trying to submit this week..... :goofy:

They might say to call on Tuesday or Wednesday cause they will tell u to wait for 10 bus days, just from my experience

I called today and she told me I need to wait thirty days. Also she was very rude and made me feel like an idiot. This process is really getting to me the K1 was way better for me.
