I heard the Dallas office is the worst on processing time , I'm just happy I am atleast working and got a nice place with my husband , the main reason I just want the green is to just make sure I can work next year when my EAD runs out and make sure I can stay with my husbands in the states

You can request and extension on the ead if needed. You should do so witching the 4 months prior to its expiration date though. It won't cost you anything if you sem the i485 receipt of you pending application.

I've read in a thread that people that filed about a year ago are getting their interview dates right now in the Dallas office. So it will be a lot of waiting bt don't be worried, you're allowed to stay as long as the application is pending and if needed, you can apply for an ead renewal
