Just got back from our interview!

We interviewed in Seattle. The whole thing took about half an hour. The man interviewing us was friendly and very thorough. He asked for our passports and another form of photo ID, then went through every single piece of paper in our packet. As he checked our paperwork, he asked for our full names, dates of birth, place of birth, parents' names, and how we met. He also had us describe all of our visits and how our wedding day went. After that, he collected wedding photos, a wedding invitation, the lease on our place, proof of renters insurance, and our joint bank account statement. At the end, he said "well, you guys look like you have a great relationship. A bonafide marriage. I'm happy to say that you'll be approved for a conditional green card! You can expect to receive it within 30 days."

So overall, it was a very thorough interview, but we came prepared and all is well. Good luck to everyone else still waiting, hang in there! :)

Congrats!

You have so much proof! Getting worried if I have an interview I'll be lacking everything. So far we only have joint checking account and phone (which I only got added 2 weeks ago).

Congrats!

You have so much proof! Getting worried if I have an interview I'll be lacking everything. So far we only have joint checking account and phone (which I only got added 2 weeks ago).

Thank you! Just get everything you can under both your names. Also, based on all the interview posts I've read here, photos really help. We had wedding photos and pictures of us on various adventures post-wedding (mini-vacation, weekend trips, us adopting our cat together, etc), all with a description, location, and date on the back of each photo. The guy interviewing us still checked every single picture to confirm when/where it was taken, but he seemed happy that everything was summarized for him on the back.

Congratulations!! I had no doubt you guys would be fine.

Thanks iPod! :D

So, a week ago we got notice of our interview scheduled for the end of this month. Then today I get a notice that it's canceled. I don't know what's going on anymore. Why does an interview just randomly get canceled?

2 year clock time for ROC starts from the date GC is issued or the date of marriage?

You file ROC 1 year and 9 months from the date your GC is issued. They don't care about the marriage date for ROC.

Finally, my status for EAD was changed from "card is being produced" to "card was mailed to me". It's been approved from 28 April until now. Hopefully i can get it in few days. I got the text message as well. I think USCIS system starts working now, everyone, check your status then. Good luck to all.

Someone on March filers just posted the exact same thing. I hope it's just another glitch. What office are you from?

Back when we filed K1 and I was stuck at the Turtle Service Center, I filed a request and it only took days to be answered. Now, it's been a week and I am ready to call again.

Today I got two updates on the website for the service request I filed on May 13th. One says request assigned, the second says request completed. Haven't received anything else - no e-mail, text or mail. I had filed the request to get my EAD (approved on April 26th) mailed to me, since they supposedly had the issues with the printer last week of April.

If I recall correctly, I few people had similar updates online to their service requests about a week ago... Any movement since?
