Last week I had told they had a target date of may 31st tk answer my inquiry.. I don't expect anything, so I will call tomorrow, again.

I hope so. Just trying to stay positive while I wait, but I just want to go to work...

I am ready to bet the officer tomorrow will give me a different speech from what I already got.

1st Officer: Oh sure, you can call back after day 90 and we will help you.

2nd Officer: The 90 days is just an approximate, don't think you should have it within that time frame. Plus, you have an inquiry for your I-765 ( I should have done one for I-131 darnit!! lol), and they have a target date of May 31st, which mean then gave themselves until them to answer it.

The silly thing is... I have a screenshot of the Processing time on USCIS saying I-765 is processing Case as of.. and it says 3 months.

At this point, I could really care less about my Green Card, I know I will be sent to the NYC hell hole. I just hope all the extra paperwork I sent will save me an interview. Can only pray...

I know how you feel. For me, every time I give them a call they just tell me to wait longer and longer periods. It's so frustrating and I'm struggling to stay positive and not be consumed by thinking about it.

Keep us posted on what they say and what you decide to do. I'll let you know if I get any updates. Praying for no interview too but I didn't included extra evidence.

A question to people who got their green cards approved without an interview. Did you include extra evidence (leases, joint accounts, joint insurance, phone plan etc) with your I-485 application? Do you need extra evidence to be approved without an interview for K1 aos? Thanks

Amazing! Congrats. I think I may be the only one left without an EAD/Green card.

My case is the same, EAD approval on 28 April, last touch 11th May, no card or no update until now. USCIS sucks!!!!

Hello -i was able to speak to a very friendly tier 2 agent this afternoon.

My EAD was also approved April 30 and has not been received. I asked her to help and she found out that the card that was produced was "crooked" so it was not sent, however there was no indication it was re done. She had to put in a request for it to be reproduced.

You gotta talk to a tier 2 agent again, because it really seems like the card machine was effed up last week of April. They don't automatically reproduce it and it might just be put aside longer if you don't ask them to help.

Hi all, you're not the only ones: still no EAD or AP letter, and it's been almost 30 days since they were approved. I'm still planning to call a Tier 2 officer this week, though based on your experiences it sounds like they've been less than helpful. Unbelievable that they don't automatically reproduce cards that don't print correctly.

Still no word on our I-485 case, either. It was last touched on 2/29 and we did our biometrics on 3/24. The San Antonio office is processing cases from October 2015, so my hopes that we'd be among the lucky few that get their GC before the EAD also don't seem realistic at this point. Ughh.

So sorry about the RFE. That really sucks . Hopefully its an easy fix. I'm on day 92 and no response to my 75 day EAD service request either. I was told to call back tomorrow if I didn't hear anything by the end of today. I wonder if they are just gonna tell me to wait an additional 30 days when I call tomorrow? That's all they seem to do.

Just got the rfe, asking for more financial details. I'm content that it's necessary and understand the reasoning but the rfe date is... 30 March!!! Unbelievable that it's been sitting there waiting to be sent for 2 months,

Still waiting on the EAD, I'm assuming the i485 rfe has slowed the EAD paperwork as well. First time I completely lost the plot with the process today, it's so depressing. I've got a job offer lined up as well, making this wait even worse.

I did a 75 day service request for my EAD on May 16th, today I got update on my I-765 that says :

As of June 1, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number TxxxxMSC, is on hold while we request your case file.

Does anyone know what this means? Thanks

On June 1, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR********MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

I told hubby dearest I would bet money something would happen on June 1st. I'll wait until tomorrow to give a call and see what they have to say.

Thankfully, my case inquiry has also been assigned. I had trouble loading the page so I couldn't see the "case history" part, only the "next steps". My status also says:

Glad we're finally seeing some progress.

My inquiry actually changed to assigned. I had problems loading the page so I didn't see the update. Do they send the inquiry response by mail or email?
