Congrats Heley!

We had our interview today, and he approved us on the spot. He said we should get our green card within 2-4 weeks, but I'm expecting it sooner rather than later. He really wanted to see photos and was happy that the ones we brought were labeled and dated. I was surprised that he didn't ask about a joint bank account or anything--he really stressed that that was more important for the removal of conditions rather than this process. He made some copies of our wedding invitations and I handed over all of our relationship evidence for him to add to the file. Additionally, he said the Chicago lockboxes were created to make it easier on the local offices--contractors at that lockbox compile everything in our file and then send it to the local office to reduce their burden of work. He said removing conditions was a process that was created because people would just get their 10 year green card and then divorce their spouse the next day since they could become a citizen in 5 years without their help. That's awful haha! He said it would be important to include joint assets, bank account, and photo evidence.

Day 105 since they received EAD application still nothing. Any other Feb filers still waiting?

I'm on day 107. Did you receive an RFIE? They told me this resets the 90 back to the beginning when they receive the reply. Although I've seen others get RFIEs and still get their EAD within 90 days. We're the unlucky ones unfortunately.

Yup , still waiting its been 79 days now. Have you called them to put in a service request? After 75 days of waiting you can make a service request to find out what' s going on. I put one in and I'm waiting for a response. 105 days is too long. Keep calling them till the do something about it. It's not right to make people wait that long.

Congrats!! Glad you've been approved!! Seems like the website is back to acting up again. The same thing happened to someone else on the March forum

Hi guys! Long time, no post. We were really busy with moving and I've been applying for jobs and interviewing like a mad woman.

We changed our address online and on the phone, but that's really the only communication we've had with USCIS since I got my EAD on April 26. Does anyone know when I could expect to hear about our interview?? Seeing at other people's timelines who filed in New Jersey it seems as if I should've heard already

Hello everyone! I got my approval notice for my advance parole today and no letter for my EAD. I thought EAD/AP are combo cards and my status online never changed since they received my packet and i never received any text/email messages saying my advance parole is already approved. Does it mean im going to receive 2 cards? 1 for my AP and 1 for my EAD?

its weird that the site is not updating properlly as the letter i got said i was approved for both on may 4th so i recommend to people who has not got the letter yet to just wait for it to come in the mail

I really hope this issue with updates not showing up on the App gets resolved in really depending on them showing up for my interview time as I will be going back to Canada soon.

Got my AP approval noticed in the mail today but none for EAD! Does it mean im not going to received a combo card?
