I guess but many people even in this thread have gotten RFEs and already received their EAD cards... ugh

i am also wondering since you and your husband are now married for more then 2 years that maybe they are working on giving you the 10 year green card instead

I wish but I came on F1 visa so we will go through the interview process in Dallas or San Antonio (we are planning on moving to Central Texas). I don't even really care about green card per se, I just want to work full time already and make some money before my baby comes...

My case just got interesting. I received a letter last week saying my AP was approved, but nothing for EAD.

I put in a service request and made an appointment for info pass which I attended yesterday. At the info pass meeting I was told that my EAD/AP were both approved on 4/28 (2 weeks ago). I still haven't received a card/document for either. The info pass officer also showed me an internal document saying that my card production was delayed - but couldn't give a reason.

Today, my case was updated to "Card being produced" on April 27th. There is definitely something wrong with their systems. I'm going to call a tier 2 officer tomorrow to ask what the hold up is and find out if the card has been mailed yet.

Arrived on P1 Visa - 2012

Married USC - 1/20/16

Filed I-485/130/131/765 - 2/16/16

NOA1 - 2/19/16

Biometrics Appt - 3/17/16 (Successful Walk-in 3/7/16)

RFE - 3/18/16

Service request for EAD due to job offer - 4/28/16

AP - Approval notice 4/28/16

6/20 - EAD/AP card received (finally)

8/15 - interview scheduled for 9/23

8/22 - interview canceled

11/2 - interview rescheduled for 12/7

11/14 - interview canceled (AGAIN!!!!)

same here,

I feel like majoirty of us dont want a green cards but to have atleast the EAD/AP so we can work and travel with our s/o

It must be hard especially you personally that is going to have a baby on the way and want to make sure enough income is coming into the home

I wonder if there is a way you can just call USCIS and expedite it knowing your situation

Actually the clock starts over completely with an RFIE supposedly and not an RFE. Your clock stops at the date you receive the RFE and resumes when USCIS gets your response.

Of the people that received their EAD/AP cards: have any of you had your case processed by NBC (national benefits center?

I will try to call and speak to a tier 2 tomorrow.

But we did also have an RFIE they received our response March 31st. So if professing by NBC for travel document is delayed professing December 2nd and it really does restart the clock I've gotta wait 3 more

Months! How do they expect people to live without being able to visit family or work? This process is incredibly flawed.

What is the difference between RFIE and RFE?

RFIE is request for initial evidence

RFE is request for additional evidence, usually second RFE...

EAD/AP is always processed at NBC.

I did call and talked to Tier 2 immigration officer already, he basically told me to wait...

Congrats to those who have received updates! :dancing:

For those of you still waiting, to give you an idea of how buggy the online system is atm - I received a text message yesterday that my I-485 had been updated. It said card delivered to post office. I received my card TWO weeks ago. I would definitely give them a call because the way the system is atm, is enough to drive anyone crazy.

Hi all,

I woke up this morning and found a notification for AOS in my USCIS app changed to Card was mailed to me on the 11th. So I checked on the website, and it says the same thing... My status was never changed before (fingerprint fee was received), but this morning said card was mailed. My question is what card that is mailed to me? Is it the green card? I don't want to do the happy dance yet, cuz I'm afraid that is not it... :huh2:
