Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

I nearly had a panic attack today seeing all these vj posts about people who had sent what they were told to send by a USCIS officer on the phone and then getting denied.

I had mailed my package this morning... And felt I was near doomed when a friend said you can intercept packages. I have intercepted the package, had to pay another $19 but better to be safe than sorry. I just hope it works.

Will just do another medical and send it to them. It sucks and I don't know why they are picking on my case... If they lost my medical, I wish they would tell me I didn't submit it or that they didn't have it so I didn't feel so crazy trying to respond to the "expiry" part. I've been trying to follow the rules perfectly but still they make you jump through hoops.

Before I got my card I got three updates on my case

1st Card is being Produced

2nd Case Approved

3rd Card is being mailed to me

Then it showed up and I got another update saying

Post office has delivered my card to me with a tracking number lol

Updates are really weird but that's how they went.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

Well. i got the approval notice by for AP only , no news for EAD today, i checked USCIS website and the status updated for EAD, card is being produced. I guess it also takes so long for sending the card then.

Then it showed up and I got another update saying

Updates are really weird but that's how they went.

I got a weird notification from USCIS just 15mins ago and it says "On may 3, we ordered your new card bla bla"

This is so weird cause I just got my card last May 9th and also got a notification from USCIS that they have mailed me my new card.

What is happeninnnngggggg

2/25/2016 - (3:40pm) sent package to USCIS via express delivery Fedex

2/26/2016 - (10am) Package delivered

3/06/2016 - (8:31pm) Case received notification via text and email

3/11/2016 - got I-797 receipt notice in mail

3/19/2016 - got I-797 Biometrics appointment at USCIS Oxnard for 3/29/2016 11:00am

3/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment

4/18/2016 - Called USCIS to expedite my EAD due to job offer

4/21/2016 - Got an email from USCIS for the job offer letter and faxed them the same day

4/26/2016 - 'New card being produced' / 'Case was Approved'

4/30/2016 - Approval notice for EAD and AP in mail

5/09/2016 - Got Combo card in mail

Today I called the 1-800 number for an update on our travel document and EAD card.

I was told

That our case was being processed by the National Benefits center and that they are working on travel documents applications from December 2nd

Our application was received February 16. The girl on the phone said we aren't "outside of normal processing" until the date on the website is past our date. I thought these AP documents were a max of 90 days though....

Has anyone else received their AP that are being processed by the national benefits center.

Just about ready to throw towel in on this whole process. It's been 3 months and we are more than anxious for the work And travel documents. :/

Looks like the update is starting to happen on the app so I checked mine and YAY!!

Mine says case is approved for my EAD/AP so looks like they are working on my case to get that EAD/AP card in the mail soon ;)

So surgery went well and I've slept the day away. I just woke up to some good news. My I-485 was just updated to case is ready to be scheduled for interview. No more stress of receiving further RFIEs yayyy.

I filed in march and got EAD/AP approved... Might want to ask for a tier 2? The people at the beginning normally only see what u can see online

I'm so annoyed sitting here waiting for EAD while being 3 months pregnant.

No news since I sent the reply to RFE and my prority date is Feb 16th so 5 more days and I'd be 90 days since I filed... :(

im not sure if this is true but i heard when you get the RFE and you give it to them the sec they recieve it the 90 days starts over again from what i have been hearing
