Still at work, but will check when I get home! They are taking forever. If you haven't gotten it, I doubt I will. If we haven't received it by this coming Saturday, I will begin to panic. We are moving immediately after our GC interview and I don't want anything sent to this mailbox after that. I still get the old tenant's mail a year after she moved out!

Okay false alarm! At around 2pm, I saw the fedex vehicle passed by our street and so I went out to check our mailbox. I saw a Priority Mail inside and my combo card was there!! I checked the mail too early. LOL! Then a few hours later I got a text and email notification that my case status online has been updated. I hope you got yours too.

Will you get a combo card?

I did research on my letter and people I noticed asking if they will get a combo card or just a EAD card with a AP letter

If your EAD approval letter has a code C09P that means you will get a combo card :) so as long as you have that code on your EAD approval letter then no need to worry <3

I did get the combo card! I think its based on the Approval notice that they send you before the actual card. Mine says they approved it together. From what I've read in some forums, some people get separate approval notices and I think thats the separate EAD card and AP letter.

Guys I need help!!!

First off, MASH congrats!!! I've been hoping you would hear something soon and so glad you got your approval. After hearing about your good news as well as others in the thread, I checked my mailbox and saw a USCIS letter. Very excited, I opened it up and it was a blue letter that said:

Your Medical Examination of Aliens seeking Adjustment of Status Form I-693 is expired. Please resubmit a new Medical.

My Medical was on November 17, 2015

My POE was December 23, 2015

My NOA 1 was February 23, 2016

As far as I understand, medicals expire a year after they are either performed or submitted. I will call USCIS tomorrow but would love any thoughts. Mildly freaking out. Already had one RFE and thankfully received my EAD but the stress of more immigration back and forth is too much.

this is just a thought ,

since your interview is on the 18th wouldn't you just get the green card and they wont issue you a EAD/AP since your close to it?

Pretty sure that's an error on their part, call abd get it cleared up.

Just had a look st your timeline and see the reason for the RFE... I was caught out for the exact same reason! If only they would warn you in the I-864 instruction manual !

Wasted 2 weeks already from the time they stopped working on my case. No guarantees in when they will pick it up again and when I might get indication they received it.

Your new issue should jud be a matter of time to sort.

I also got the same RFIE and I also wish they warned us.

It looks like when I sent back RFIE's (I got 2), they started working on it pretty fast because for the first one I got a second one about a week later, and for the second one, I got my AP approval a week later.

I got an update on my case 2 days after they got the reply, so it should be coming soon for you. :)
