February 2016 AOS Filers

WOOHOO! Just randomly checked my mail and I got my AOS approval notice... says they'll mail me my new permanent resident card within the next 3 weeks. Like a lot of other people I had no status changes through the website or by text so this comes as a surprise. My AP has been approved with no approval notice mailed for the past month and I have had my EAD since early April. And I just got mailed some CANADIAN red rose tea! aww yeah!

I think that after their system update or maitenance nobody has been receiving notifications from uscis, I can't access my account now, they apparently blocked it because I had attempted too many times to access it with the incorrect information?? which I never did since I know my password and user name very well, and only my husband and I live in the house and he spends the whole day at work so nobody has access to my laptop except for me. Is there anyone else having the same issue??

Still have no update for the AOS, last update was RFE docs received. @MASH Ganbatte!!! I feel for you. I am glad that your husband aunt is really nice.

It does seem like online notifications are all messed up since the update. I recommend bothering your post office to make 100% sure your mail is getting delivered to the correct address. We missed our first biometrics appointment because the notice was returned and then delivered to the wrong place, so we got paranoid about the interview and talked to every post office and carrier we could in order to guarantee that we would receive the interview notice. They're all grumpy with us now, but it's worth it.

The same thing happened to me. It's not the first time either. Just reset your password and it will work again.

My status online for my AP is still 'Case Was Received' but the approval notice I got was for my EAD and AP. I think its really buggy for most people

Congratulations! Did you get two separate documents? I also got a I-797 Approval Notice dated May 2nd today, but just for the AP. Now it's got me all worried about the EAD. I'm hoping it's just a few days behind in the mail or something.

I was having the same log-in issue with the online USCIS site that others mentioned. And I've gotten no online updates since our NOA1 on February 29. It's all still showing up as last touched on February 29.

Thanks SEG123 and MASH! Yeah I got two separate envelopes, one for each application. I suppose it should only be 5 to 7 business days for the actual cards to arrive.

I hope this is normal. Been 11 days for us and most people get theirs a day or two after thay get their approval notice or one week after the approval online.
