We were approved April 11th (NOA was Feb 2), 75 days later, but it was approved before biometrics - weird. Since April 11th we've heard nothing nor seen a card. My husband called them last week to ask why we haven't gotten a card and the rep told him it's because they are really behind and it could take another 60 days for him to get his card. He got upset and mentioned that they have 90 days and we were at 87 days so far. She said that they only have to approve within 90 days but the card has no deadline. >.<

Hey guys does anyone know what happens with the I-94 in my passport when I go to Canada with my AP card are they gonna take it out or should I or should I photocopy it ? I know that some people say you need to bring it to the Green Card interview so if I go across the boarder and they take it ?!

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

That is peculiar. How did they approve it before your biometrics appointment? Hopefully you guys will hear from them by the end of this week.

Hey guys...just stepped out of the SS office. Brought along with me everything including marriage certificate but all they wanted was my passport and EAD card. I had already printed and filled out the application at home so I just stood in front the booth for about 5 mins.

Receipt says expect it in about 2 weeks but she said give it 5-10 days to get there in the mail.

On ur tracker on the USCIS site did they give you a tracking # for ur EAD card? If not then they are probably still making ur EAD card, some people don't get a combo card but a EAD and a piece of paper for AP

Hi Mash, in the mail, they never mentioned anything related to EAD, just only AP, it's so strange, i think they are going to deny my EAD. Do you think so?

I don't think so just cause u said that it was approved already online and there is no reason not to approve it as you are doing the AOS, if worse comes to worse and if they do it was free and try again but you will be fine

Just for a piece of mind I say give them a ring :)

well, it never approved online or change any status, the status of forms are the same, never change since i got NOA1. i got a letter in my mail box. I really don't know what are they doing? My friend, she sent AOS on Mar 11, now she got approval for i485 today . How fast do you think? 1 month and 20days . And she got RFE as well. It's just unfair. :(

I know it sucks, I originally mailed mine on the 2nd of Feb but they mailed it back to me after 22 days saying the cheque amount is wrong even though I gave them a $1070 cheque , then I had to start over and now I am still waiting for my EAD and AP,

The waiting sucks but I am trying to remain positive so I don't go insane lol
