oh hubby got same texts from case tracker at 5AM, he got pissed because he thought it's good news hehe...

Strange thing is I never got a repeated text or anything like that, I guess it's only for some people

Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

Nope, I got the same thing--even though my case was already approved, I got emails about some post-decision activity, but when I went online to check the case status, it was still the same.

A big congrats to you goolia!

Green Card interview got approved today. The interview last less than 10 minutes. The interview dint even ask all the document that we require to bring. Just show our passport and answer a couple question and the interview proceed to approved us and stamped the passport. Green card will arrive within two weeks. I want to thank Visajourney and all the members here who give us a wonderful guides from K1 process all the way to Green card process.

So we went out for the weekend and when we got back home, the approval notice for my ead is there! What's weird is, my case online for AP is still 'case received' but then in my notice it says both my EAD and AP were approved and should wait for a separate document. I'm happe yet confused hahaha is this normal?

AOS from B1/B2 Visa

2/18/2016 - Got married

2/25/2016 - (3:40pm) sent package to USCIS via express delivery Fedex

2/26/2016 - (10am) Package delivered

3/06/2016 - (8:31pm) Case received notification via text and email

3/11/2016 - got I-797 receipt notice in mail

3/19/2016 - got I-797 Biometrics appointment at USCIS Oxnard for 3/29/2016 11:00am

3/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment

4/18/2016 - Called USCIS to expedite my EAD due to job offer

4/21/2016 - Got an email from USCIS for the job offer letter and faxed them the same day

4/26/2016 - 'New card being produced' / 'Case was Approved'

4/30/2016 - Approval notice for EAD and AP in mail

5/09/2016 - Got Combo card in mail

Congrats!

It is indeed normal. It is really up to the individual person processing your case whether they want to provide all of the online/text updates or not. The hard copy approval trumps everything so just be excited! Your (hopefully combo) card will be shortly.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

  • Day 15 Feb 16, 2016 — NOA1 received
  • Day 21 Feb 22, 2016 — Biometric appointment received
  • Day 30 March 2, 2016 — Biometric appointment
  • Day 42 March 14, 2016 — Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
  • Day 75 April 17, 2016 — 75 Day threshold
  • Day 84 April 29, 2016 — Filed Approaching Regulatory Timeframe service request
  • Day 90 May 5, 2016 — 90 Day threshold
  • Day 95 May 7th, 2016 — EAD Card delivered
  • Day 213 Sep 2nd, 2016 — I-797C MSC1690558901 Form I-485 received

I'm still waiting on mine ,

I'm comsidered 62 days in even though I technically mailed it on the Feb 2nd lmao

If you are now at 90 days you have to call USCIS and let them be aware of it and if they can't help ask for a tier 2 and if nothing changes have ur congressman help you with the process :)

But since you got the NOA1 on the 15th day according to ur timeline your only at 75 days which is fine cause as of that day and still no EAD/AP still call them and let them be aware that ur close to hitting 90 days

News for people that did not recieve there EAD/AP

From what I heard from 2 ppl that they have received there's without having it been updated on the USCIS website

So definitely make sure you check that mailbox cause you just never know ;)

Hello

It turns out that I got a rfie because the medical exam was completed on the wrong version of the form. The letter states not to mail any information until further notice.

The medical my husband received was on March 25 of last year. Do we have to pay to get another medical exam completed or can the doctor complete the updated medical form with the results from last years exam?

We were not able to file last year because of financial issues.

I heard that they are doing maitanence today till 6 pm which is probably why these emails are being sent out , weird that I didn't get a repeated email of my NOA1 or that my case is ready for interview but oh well :)

same here I didn't get any kind of email or notifications. :/
