So just ran out to the mailbox in hopes my green card would be in there and sure enough, there it was! Not sure what they use the passport pictures for that we sent in with the application because my GC photo is also the one that was taken at biometrics.

It's so intense. They give you an envelope to hold your card in to prevent "electronic interference."

Congrats to all receiving good news and god's speed to those still waiting.

I answered this awhile back they use your passport photos to staple onto your applications at the top of each application there is a spot for it where it's says office use. I know this because when they opened my K1 packet I saw my passport stapled in the same spot located on all other forms :)!

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

Ah, I must have missed that! Thank you!

It worked out in my favour. Despite my hair looking ridiculous in the biometrics photo, I was at least smiling instead of mean mugging like my passport photo lol.

To be honest I was stressing before but then it just hits me I am not here for a green card in all honestly , my main reason for being in the states is to be with my husband n having the green card is just a bonus :)

Also stressing in not gonna get us the Green Card, EAD/AP any sooner so I am just sitting back and enjoying the ride

If people get there's before me that is ok cause we are all going through the same thing to make sure we stay with our loved one <3

Woke up this morning and got several notifications from the USCIS app saying "case was updated to:' case was received' 'fingerprint was received'", which means nothing was changed. I assume that's some kind of system error. Am I the only person who experienced this?

Nope, I got the same thing--even though my case was already approved, I got emails about some post-decision activity, but when I went online to check the case status, it was still the same.

You're right. My mood was like on a roller coaster this morning when I saw the notifications. Now feel like I'm being teased.
