For those who received their Ead/ap cards...Out of curiosity, is there a picture on there (duh) but if yes ...was it the one taken at your biometrics or the one you sent in with your applications?

Yes there is the picture on it taken at the bio...

Its black and white...

Congrats to all the approvals!! Amazing... I am so nervous as i have my interview friday at noon... I will keep u updated :)

Congrats! We're in the same boat--I would go online and check your case status for the AP. We only got a notification for the EAD, but when I checked my case online, the AP was also approved!

AOS from B1/B2 Visa

2/18/2016 - Got married

2/25/2016 - (3:40pm) sent package to USCIS via express delivery Fedex

2/26/2016 - (10am) Package delivered

3/06/2016 - (8:31pm) Case received notification via text and email

3/11/2016 - got I-797 receipt notice in mail

3/19/2016 - got I-797 Biometrics appointment at USCIS Oxnard for 3/29/2016 11:00am

3/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment

4/18/2016 - Called USCIS to expedite my EAD due to job offer

4/21/2016 - Got an email from USCIS for the job offer letter and faxed them the same day

4/26/2016 - 'New card being produced' / 'Case was Approved'

4/30/2016 - Approval notice for EAD and AP in mail

5/09/2016 - Got Combo card in mail

I was all ready until she had me remove my hair from my face ...she took a first pic and i was like noooooooooo....may i have another go at it ? She laughed and did it again...hair was fine but she told me to lift my head ...that... i did a lil too much. ..at that point i was like you kno what...Its not my husband I'm asking to take me couple of pics...I'd be stretching it if i asked again...so i probably look like peewee Herman on my card ...*shrugs*

I don't want to brag about it but I just got an update for my I-485 case saying that my new card is being produced. To be honest I was looking forward to an interview haha because I made this nice scrapbook album with pictures that we took since I came to the States

I really hope I get the 10 year card instead of the conditional one so I don't have to deal with USCIS for a looong time. Sending good vibes to everyone whose case hasn't been approved yet, especially MASH (F)

From reading other posts if one does get a 10year GC when they have been married less than 2 years you need to let them know and get it changed, but if you have been married longer- should be good to go. Congrats!

I don't want to brag about it but I just got an update for my I-485 case saying that my new card is being produced. To be honest I was looking forward to an interview haha because I made this nice scrapbook album with pictures that we took since I came to the States

Married USC - 1/20/16

Filed I-485/130/131/765 - 2/16/16

NOA1 - 2/19/16

Biometrics Appt - 3/17/16 (Successful Walk-in 3/7/16)

RFE - 3/18/16

Service request for EAD due to job offer - 4/28/16

AP - Approval notice 4/28/16

6/20 - EAD/AP card received (finally)

8/15 - interview scheduled for 9/23

8/22 - interview canceled

11/2 - interview rescheduled for 12/7

11/14 - interview canceled (AGAIN!!!!)

YAY! EAD approved just now. Hopefully the card will arrive before next Friday, as that is when we go to the DMV. Only got the approval through email, even though I signed up for text alerts too. Weird...

We got an RFE and have been approved for AP/EAD. Just got a notification saying they were sent out today. :)

Also congrats to everyone making progress! We're almost there!!

I received my RFE almost 3 weeks after completing biometrics. Nothing has updated beyond saying that they received my response to the RFE.

I'm adjusting status from a visa - out of curiosity I did a self-check on e-verify a few minutes ago to check my employment eligibility and it says I am eligible to work. How reliable is e-verify/self check?

Arrived on P1 Visa - 2012

Married USC - 1/20/16

Filed I-485/130/131/765 - 2/16/16

NOA1 - 2/19/16

I received and RFIE (request for initial evidence) and they received my response on March 31st and I still have not heard a thing on the I-485 ead OR AP yet ;(

Feb 23 - Notice date for EAD and AOS

April 8 - My RFIE was received for 485

April 22 - EAD Approved

No word on GC yet. Hope you hear something soon!
