Waiting stinks :(

Same here, if we're lucky we will hear something by the end of this week

I haven't heard anything since Bio appointment notice (Bio completed on 3/30). Looks like we're on a similar timeline so hopefully we hear something this week, or next - looks like 60 - 65 days is the average wait for EAD these days. Hoping we're on the "average" bus too:))

I also have a job offer in hand which makes me that much more eager to get the approval and start working...

As far as applying for a job prior to the EAD approval, you can apply and receive an offer but you just can't start working till you have the EAD (and SSN I believe). Before applying, I told the company that I am waiting for my EAD and that I should be able to start around May 25th (which is 90 days after my EAD priority date) and they were ok with that and gave me an offer.

I'm guessing it's just up to the HR folks at the company you're applying at whether or not to consider you.

Good luck to all waiting and congrats to everyone that got news already!

Was just looking for work online and applied. Went to a few job interviews and told them my situation. It actually depends on the employer if they still want to pursue with you and if they are willing to wait. :)

that's awesome!!! I have 3 interviews this week hope one of them offers me a job

Thanks, is it the same for your bio letter too? I am wondering because we got a letter from NBC saying we didn't submit the medical form with our AOS. Which they should already have from POE.

my I-797 for the EAD says National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri

On the top part of letter (like for biometrics appointment) it will have the service center on there. I am not sure when exactly it gets sent on to local office, but wondering myself about that as well.

My EAD/AP also lists Lee's Summit (NBC). Haven't received the GC approval letter yet but I assume it is also NBC.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

Next step: Citizenship!

Ok. Wonder if it makes a difference in if there will be an interview or waived interview. Thanks. Congrats on combo card!

That's awesome. Yes, every case is different, but there has to be some kind of a correlation somewhere. Right?!? LoL. Do you check the case tracker many times a day or if there's been a status update too??? I am so bad with that. I just want to know my husbands case isn't just collecting dust.

I actually got the same letter from uscis a few weeks ago. I feel like it's a generic letter they send out for those who haven't sent any medical record yet. (For my case maybe)

Just out of curiosity who else hasn't received EAD,AP,Green Card or Interview Date as of yet

Just wondering :)

Me! Nothing since I got our NOA1 on 2/29, even though it was dated 2/25. We did our biometrics on March 24, so I'm hoping we'll hear something in the next week or so.

So i got this email from our congresswoman that they did an inquiry about our case and then told me this ''The house rules do not allow me to expedite or influence the outcome of any case''

In one of her paragraphs.

Does this mean they can't help me with my request for expedite? Cause ive read in most threads that their congressman helped them in expediting their application. Why can't i then?

So weird :(

Maybe your state doesn't allow it all states have different rules for everything.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:
