Once you get the notice it will say I got my card and my approval notice for EAD but not the paper approval for AP yet my card says good for advance parole on the bottom but you'll have to wait tell you get the paper in the mail it should say wether you can use it for travel.

I'm so excited to come home in June I've already started a list of what I want to bring back :)!

Ugh me too! I found a pack of Smarties in a candy store nearish our house- it was TINY, maybe 20 grams and it was THREE DOLLARS. We can get these in the bulk section in Canada!!! Ahhhhhhhhh can't wait to go back and raid the grocery store. Anything in particular you're looking for?

Combo card just arrived in the mail looks like I'll be at my graduation !!

Congrats Abby!

More good news other than interview schedule that was schedule this morning

Just got notification

I131 has name updated

I765 new card being produced

Can't wait to get the combo card

Congrats!

Just got the ead card being produced update!!

Looks like my rfie did not hold up my ead :)

Uscis received my rfie on April 08 and two weeks later my ead card is being produced!

Hopefully aos won't take too long.

That's awesome, congrats!

No worries, I still don't have ANYTHING. No EAD/AP, no case ready to be scheduled.... Starting to think I'll go home tonight and find another biometrics letter waiting.

Makes me want to cry. Been in the us since June 2015 and I miss working. I am NOT a good house wife. ( We got married two weeks before my I-94 expired, his mother had a stroke 2 weeks before the wedding. We had to travel to MD and because of this had no money to file until February. )

Oh no :/ I'm sorry about his mother, and I hope you hear something soon!

Hello Everyone,

I have not been active in this topic earlier but wanted to add my experience on AOS filing / timeline. We sent our AOS (from K1 Visa) in early February and received EAD Combo Card mid April with Green Card arriving a mere week later.

So no interview, no RFEs and received EAD in ~2 months and Green Card in ~2.5months.

Not gonna lie, I am still in a bit of a shock and could not believe how lucky we got that it was approved so quickly. YAY!!!

It does make me wonder what truly impacts the processing times in general ... my guess is it's individual background of each applicant/relationship, office that processes it, time of the year and for sure a bit (sometimes a big one) of luck ...?

Just in case anyone is interested, we did not use a lawyer and did all of our K1/AOS filing ourselves. We did not send any proof of relationship with AOS but made sure that Affidavit form & attachments were exhausting. Also we sent in complete medical & vaccinations. Not really sure if that made any difference just wanted to share.

Congrats to you all who have already completed AOS process and best of luck to everyone else, hope you receive some good news soon, too!

Haha so have I! I have two big lists going actually. Stuff that family/friends have requested I bring them and stuff I want to bring back :)

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

I feel like people adjusting from K1 are being processed much faster than others. Most of the people I saw got their GC or GC interview dates are adjusting from K1. Congrats to all of you!

I was bummed when I saw the date haha.

I try to stay positive, I was expecting the letter as I did some research on code 2 when you AOS. Kept telling hubby there would be a letter waiting for me. It was funny as we were in the hallway and I just waved the letter and said ; I told you!
