Congrats iPod!!!!!!!! So glad to hear the interview went well and your card is being produced :) To think, we both got 2 RFEs, and still got our GC and EAD relatively quickly :)

Thanks, I'm so happy you got yours too. I know about the RFE's, they were so stressful, but we made it!!! I wish you the best for the future. :)

First of all, huge congrats to iPod and zwoodward! You made it!!

Second, my husband and I are having quite a day. He interviewed for one of his dream jobs, and it went so well that they offered him the job on the spot! He then came home and checked the mail. We weren't expecting anything since our I-485 case status hadn't changed, but there it was, the green card!! Only took one week after the interview to arrive. :) So happy!

Thank you and congrats to your husband on the job, this is awesome!!

Congrats to all the people who got their GC!!!

At some point, I started wondering whether REF could actually speed up the process. At least you can see you the progresses. I submitted my case in late January and so far has received nothing regarding my I485. I've seen people who filed before me at the same local office got their GC in 6 months even with REF.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know I was one of the lucky ones to receive my Green Card without an interview. We just checked the mailbox and found it there... no text no email. It looks like a trend now.

Good luck everyone!!

Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations! We have almost the same file and NOA1 dates and are also adjusting from Colombia :D. I know there's no logic at all to this process, but it still makes me hopeful, even being stuck at the backlogged San Antonio office.

Got my EAD card and started a job all on the same day on Monday, was a good day.

Hello - I'm just writing a review on my interview in San Bernardino.

We arrived at the office which was very nice. They took our interview letter and we were called in shortly after.

The interview took about 1 hour. That's right ladies and gentlemen. An entire hour. The officer was friendly but asked a lot of questions. It was nothing like most of the interviews that I've read up on the board before, it was much more through. He said he asks the same questions from all couples.

He told us since we had only been married three months that he didn't expect us to have a ton of joint assets.

Questions started with verifying my personal information. My name, address, parents name, place of birth. Then he asked my husband if he still wanted to sponsor me. He asked him if he ever thought I was marrying him for immigration purposes. Lol! Like really - I'm Canadian!!!

She asked me if my husband ever kept my immigration documents from me. LOL! Then he asked us a number of questions on our joint assets because we only have one shared checking account. Since i didn't have my social yet, it's still being processed. She asked us if we had me on the house title, life insurance or car insurance and really went into my husbands assets.

He was nice and professional and even funny though the interview. Then he asked us how we met, when we decided we were exclusive, how he proposed, when he proposed, how we decided where I would live. Then asked us when we knew we were right for each other. He asked us about trips we had taken together. Any social media examples of our relationship - my Facebook pages really helped!

I don't think we had enough evidence of joint assets but it didn't really impact our interview. I had a lot of evidence that I had compiled for the K1, all our hotel receipts, boarding passes, wedding dress receipts, ring receipts, wedding invitation, lots of photos showing the progress of our relationship. Bottom line is a real couple should have no problem with this interview and I've got my GC just in time for my religious wedding in Canada!

Our office was Dallas which is terribly backlogged too!! I've seen a few applications being approved without an interview so let's cross fingers you are one of them.
