Idk if I am just over thinking this but I feel people that got an RFE had more accomplished then people that didn't

I don't know, but what I have noticed is that most people who are self-employed get one.

EAD status was updated moments ago to "my card was mailed to me."

Strange that the combo card no longer seems to be very popular. Not complaining though.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

Next step: Citizenship!

IPod - sad to hear that you got another RFIE. I guess it's good that they're working on your file. I hope they get your approvals quickly.

Hi,

After the biometrics on March 18th, I got RFE on the 21st for the 2014 tax.

Today my EAD is approved and the card is being ordered but no update on AP.

The AP status still case was received :(

And i feel you guys... been in here since October, we had about 8 weeks pending because of the marriage certificate problem.

Most of the days, I just do some cleaning and cooking and also... came from Asia, I suffered culture shocks and hard times adjusting to the weather and food :crying:

Not being able to work is terrible, I have really hard time about it. Currently I am volunteering at school, it helps.

I feel you , even though I came from Canada my background is Iran so I miss a lot of my culture and the foods I used to eating , the weather is different here as well from mostly snow to mostly super hot weather in Texas , n I agree not gong to work is awful knowing you don't have ur own money and all you do is maid stuff around the house

But be happy you volunteer, I wish I could but I live in the middle of nowheresville till I start working so we can afford to move closer to the city

For me I've been finding sleeping to be really hard! I keep dreaming I'm at work or with my family, and the dream is largely unremarkable until I realize, omg I'm in Canada!!!! And I start freaking out, how did I get here??? Why did I choose to come back??? I don't have my AP yet we'll have to start all over again!!! All our hard work for nothing??!!! And then I wake up in a panic :(

I've been really fortunate that we don't live far from my friends & family, so they visit often and I don't feel too homesick, but I'll sleep a lot sounder once my AP comes through.

Got a text from USCIS this afternoon that my case for i-485 had been updated. It changed to "a tracking number has been assigned", and upon looking it up via USPS it was already at the post office! :)

Drove over right away and now I'm holding my Green Card and it feels like a dream. Thank you everyone. Wishing you all luck and speed with your cases!

I had a dream just last night about still being pat my old job being social and spending time with my family and my husband living there with me, the dream was awesome till I woke up realizing I'll just be channel surfing today and do the laundry, I wish I lived near my family so they can come visit me
