Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

Hi everyone, just an update on my AOS timeline. NOA for I-485, I-765 and I-131 were all on Feb 10th. Biometrics letter on Feb 20th and I did my biometrics on appointment date Mar 8th.

On the USCIS website my I-485 case has been updated (as of Mar 16th) to say "Case is ready to be scheduled for a interview" but no update on EAD/AP yet. Also no letter yet with interview date.

It's good that my case is being worked on I guess, but it could still be some time before I receive any cards or even have the interview.

That's great!!! Let us know when you get the interview letter.

There's been so much good news in the January thread and now in the February thread, I'm so happy it seems our times are finally on their way!

K-1 Visa Process (182 days from I-129F filed -> Visa in Hand)

 

 

May 10th, 2015: Got Engaged!

June 12th 2015: Fiance filed I-129F, June 19th, 2015: (NOA1) Received at California Service Center

July 23rd, 2015: (NOA2) NVC received

Aug 31st, 2015: NVC Approved and fwd case to consulate in Montreal. MTL case # given.

Sept 8th, 2015: MTL received and sent P3 by mail, Sept 18th, 2015: P3 received in mail, Sept 18th, 2015: DS-160 completed and P3 documents sent by e-mail

Sept 21st, 2015: P3 Approved. Received P4 by e-mail, Sept 21st, 2015: Booked K-1 Visa interview for December 2nd, 2015!!

Oct 2nd, 2015: Booked Medical in Toronto for November 12th, 2015

Nov. 12th, 2015: Medical done in Toronto, ON with Dr Lyndon Mascarenhas. Highly recommend him!!

Nov. 17th, 2015: Medical results delivered by Purolator

Dec. 2nd, 2015: Interview in Montreal... APPROVED!!!!

Dec. 9th, 2015: CEAC status changed to Issued!

Dec. 11th, 2015: Ready for pickup at Waterloo location. Picked up and Visa in Hand!

Did u send in tax for 2015?

No, we only completed our tax return last week.

I did however include a copy of my wife's W2 from her employer for the year.

Hello thought I would update - had my biometrics appointment at the Pomona field office last Wednesday March 17th.

Was super quick because I had an appointment. Thanks to my fellow VJ posters I did comb my hair and put on make-up.

Now I am just waiting patiently. It's great to see the progress for my fellow filers.

Oh shoot my husbands W-2 came the day after we sent out our package hopefully they won't gives us a hard time ?

On a side note just got home from my biometrics this morning scheduled for nine but I was there at 8:40 ish and they took me early easy peasy. Did a signature a bunch of fingerprints and a picture ??

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

That's what I think too usually two weeks after the status changes I'm crossing my fingers for no RFE

I also did it online and I have been receiving letters to my new address since then.

Make sure that when you change the I-130, you do it under the petitioner's name (the US spouse).

The other forms are under the beneficiary's (immigrant) name.

Just reporting on a successful biometrics appointment today at the Austin ASC Center. Appointment was at 9am and my wife was out by 9:30. Now on to waiting for what seems like an inevitable RFE for 2015 tax returns for both my and our co-sponsor. I also didn't include six months of pay stubs :(....ugh. So ready for this process to be over!
