Glad to hear things are progressing for people!

WORSE news over here... I was intending to go walk in to the biometrics place this morning, but while making dinner last night I chopped a chunk out of my left pointer finger!!! ARGGGH what rotten luck!!! I'm going to schedule an INFOPASS appointment and try to do the walk-in for Monday. It was bleeding something awful when I changed the bandaid this morning :( Damn carrots and their tiny roll-y bodies...

I didn't get a notification either! It just surprised me by coming in the mail, I had no idea it would be so quick. I actually missed my Bio appointment, but there's still no updates to my case other than the received fee.

Oh man...I know the feeling, happened to me once ...good luck on rescheduling

Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

Hello the great people of VJ! I have my biometrics appt today!

Do I need to dress up, I was going to head over after the gym - no make-up, will there be any official photos taken?

haha oh yes. They do take a picture. But I wonder if it will be the picture on gc or ead. or will they use the pics you sent with the application..hmm...

Thanks guys. I was also under the impression that no news is good news but started to panic a bit hearing about all these RFE's/cases being worked.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

 

Next step: Citizenship!

I don't know if they'll use that picture for the green card, I would assume so since I didn't apply for EAD, but they still took my picture.

The lady also said, when taking my thumb print, this is the one that will go on my card.

I don't know, but I also read that they use the one from the bio appointment for the EAD card too, so really I don't know why exactly we are required to send pictures.

Ahhhh, no Bio letter today and it's now 2 weeks since the NOA1 :(

I really hope it doesn't come super late that I miss it that would be awful :'(

lol I hear you! mine also, it was a cold day and I had hat hair!

But I think nobody will care about the picture on GC, so I will just try to look nicer for my driver's license! :)

June 8th, 2016: Called USCIS concerning delay, officer put another request in and said the previous one would like be ignored as it was created through their website.

June 21st, 2016: Contacted both NY Senators.

July 8th, 2016; Sent Evidence Requested by USCIS. (Received July 13th)

July 15th, 2016; Emergency Advance Parole due to Family Emergency

July 27th, 2016; Contacted USCIS Ombudsman as my I-765 has been pending for 5 months.
