Passport-sized photos - use the same ones again or get new ones?

Just wondering about the little passport-sized photos that I have. I had 4 identical ones done to send one with my G-325A. They were taken a week ago. For the interview, should I take the other ones from this set with me although they will, by then, be a year old? Or should I get another set done nearer the time? Is it more important that they are recent or do they have to be identical? Just wondering whether I need to keep these safe or if I can forget about them.

Photo requirement is that it's taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance so maybe just have your photo taken again closer to your interview

The instructions does say photos taken within last six months but they're really not that strict about it. At my interview, they didn't ask for my photos. And I know others here on VJ from various countries who also either forgot to bring photos or who weren't asked for them.

Not really worth risking a delay in your visa progress though IMO. Nothing beats going into an interview knowing you are prepared for it.

YES you need to take a recent photo again. One of my cousin was asked to come back for the interview again with a recent photo since she gave a year old photo. It is better to do it rather than be sorry. They might not even ask you but it is better not to take any risks.

Photos are still part of the Embassy requirements; bring everything as required even if there are VJers who were not asked about it during the interview.

In my case, I was asked for Photos during my interview.

Oh yes I'll definitely take a few photos with me to the interview. Better to take more than you need than not have something you need. I was more concerned about whether they will want identical photos to the ones sent with the initial petition or whether they will want ones that are very recent.

Thank you! That settles it then. Two photos and must be recent for London.
