Good afternoon everyone,

We are ready to send the I-751 form to Vermont and have a question about page 8 (of 11 pages) on the new form. This is for part 8- Spouse or individual listed in part 4 (that would be me the US citizen and husband/spouse). I (the US citizen/husband/spouse) sign the acknowledgment of appointment at USCIS application support center. Within the statement it suggests I will be photographed/fingerprinted at the USCIS ASC (application support center). I have no problem with getting my biometrics done but I find that strange. The fee for ROC is is $505.00 plus $85.00 biometric fee. The biometric fee will be for my wife (the green card holder and conditional resident). Am I reading too much into this statement? My guess is they want part 8 completed just in case they want my biometrics?? If that happens maybe they charge me an additional $85.00??

Thanks for looking

Here is your answer (from the I-751 Instruction Sheet)

2. U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Spouse. If you are the U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

spouse, you do not need to include a biometric services fee at the time this petition is submitted. If USCIS later

notifies you that you must submit your biometrics, you will receive a biometric services appointment notice with

instructions on how to submit the additional fee.
