We had been trying since literally March 2005, we found out I was pregnant in Nov (I must of conceived around the time I got my GC) but unfortunately I had a miscarriage early Dec :(

I am still waiting for my periods to return, I was irregular anyway and was diagnosed with PCOS several years back, but hope that maybe the next time it happens I will go the full term. (fingers crossed)

There is hope for you, just don't stress about it.

Best of luck.

Nani was very frustrated when it didn't happen in November - our first month of trying to conceive. And I mean frustrated and nervous and mad and scared and worried and all of that. I told her hundreds of times that conception isn't like turning on the light. Told her about the good old statistic that there is a 20% chance only each month under the best of circumstances (bright idea  ). I even backed it up with printed materials and all (even brighter idea  ). Didn't help  . She was ready for a baby and that was that. Then, of course, I was stressed in December although I had a feeling that Christmas might just be that time of year where miracles happen. And a baby is just that after all: a miracle...

Good Luck being able to relax to all of you trying!

I am really sorry to hear that.. I hope you will get pregnant soon. (F)

My husband and I are not done with immigration hassle yet and I did not want to get pregnant until we are almost done. I have to go back to Germany in March to get my visa (my overstay ban will be lifted then.. my husband and I moved to Montreal so we can be together).

We will try to get pregnant next cycle! Please cross fingers for us! We have been through soo much stress with immigration and frankly so not looking forward to more stress like not be able to get pregnant..

My husband will be 38 and I am 30 years old so we ARE READY!!!!!!!!

Good luck everyone and congratulations mothers and fathers to be!

Good luck to everyone trying. I am sure it's quite stressful... We are thinking of starting to try at the end of April - beginning of May.... But I've already started reading about pre-pregnancy prep and will be going to the doctor for a consult in a couple of weeks.

A baby is a gift from God, so all of us need to try and stop worrying

wishing everyone sucess in getting pregnant. for me I can get pregnant but it takes time.

my two kids are 7 years apart wich gives you an idea of how long I had to wait .

my first baby it took me about a miscarriage and tubal pregnancy later of 5 years to give birth to

a preemie who is now 12 years old.

I am now remarried for about one year now and 5 months.

I had one miscarriage in sept and I got pregnant to our shock in oct.

lots of time and praying helps.

it's kind of hard to do but I had made up my mind to not think of getting pregnant to just

enjoy my life and once I found a hobby or got busy with something,,bingo! the stick turned pink!

bless you all and good luck.

My first one I was pregnant at 29 with my ex husband but miscarried at 5 & 1/2 months after having an amnio.

After that We tried for 6 yrs and finally had my daughter. We were both checked out by fertility expert and they couldn't find a thing wrong.

I moved here to the states and married in August 2005. Got pregnant by October but miscarried Dec 27th.

Were still hoping to concieve but the old bio clock is definetly clicking by for me as I'll be 45 in June. My Hubby just turned 39 and has never been a daddy ( cept to my daughter) We are considering taking fertility drugs to help things along after we conclude our AOS interview ( too stressful to even commence this right now)

I think a lot of the reason that people are saying to relax is because the relaxing part helps in the getting pregnant and in staying pregnant. I have had 2 miscarriages that occurred really close to the time that I would have had my period anyways so it is even possible to get pregnant and not know it. So now I am trying to not stress over getting pregnant and trying to relax about other things too so that if I manage to get pregnant, I wont miscarry again.

I had 2 miscarriages :( . The last one was a boy. So, I got several test done, including that dye test (ouch!). No reason discovered why. So, 3rd pregnancy, I had hospital stay of 2 months under observation, and pregnancy went right through to the end (38th week). OBGYN suspects stress to be my downfall. But 7 years later, I'm definately not ready for another one. Here is my miracle...

I know about the disappointment of not getting pregnant easily. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 11 months now and nothing happening. He has a daughter from a previous marriage and they had NO problems getting pregnant, so of course I feel like a failure and am pretty much devastated every month when it doesnt happen. I'm hoping our troubles are stress related, we've both been through alot over the past year, not just related to the immigration, but family and health stuff too.

Here's hoping that this month will be the month.

Good luck!!
