Great suggestion, just not sure how it would work. We would have to get the B2 visa and have her meet someone over a period of time while shes here. I guess. Ill focus on getting my father here first. She cant get out of her contract in kuwait till 2018 without paying some hefty fines for breaching the contract. So at the least we will just file for her B2 visa when its time for her to leave kuwait and maybe she can meet someone when she visits.

So, you have some time to talk with your spouse, he has friends....

Best if a love match, this stuff about convenience is really not convenient for anyone.

well, you'd be chasing an IR-5 visa on dad,

and as such,

IR-5 visa holders never need a work permit.

It's simply not needed.

your sister wont get B2 neither in kuwait or anywhere else expect having a large amount in her bank account plus something to proof she will return to PI after her visit.. forget about her B2 visa focus to find her a soul mate its easy and fastest many kabayans moving from dubai with their american fiances or else wait for another 10-15 years...

Well it could be a form of tourism.. Men come here to find the "Twin Peaks", Women come to see the "Gun Shows".... all jokes aside it really does sound like they are fishing for a way to circumvent the system.

I'd wager a considerable sum that if one polled 100 young, single, Filipinas standing in the visa queue outside our embassy in Manila about why they wanted the visa, if they could be sure that their answers were not going to be shared with anyone else, 98 of them would say, 'to find an American husband!'....(the other two would be looking for work)
