Hello everyone! 2 yrs ago my mom ( from the Philippines) applied for a tourist visa ( twice) to visit me here in the U.S. and was denied a visa.4 days ago she had her interview (her 3rd attempt) at the U.S. Embassy Manila and was granted a multiple entry visa.Happiest day of my life!:) She was only asked 2 questions:What is the purpose of your travel which she answered : " To visit my daughter in Florida."And the 2nd question:What is your daughter's work in Florida : "She is an RN at....." And the consul said congratulations. And that's it the interview ended. My mom is excited. She will be coming over this February. And I get to finally see her after 4 yrs. To those who have family members trying to get a tourist visa and was denied-let them try again.
