Okay....I have a question and I hope someone can shed some knowledge...

In doing some reading, I found that NVC schedules an interview within 30 days (of course that is dependent on the posts volume) of a case being deemed as DQ. Although this is completely opposition of the letter you receive after your case has bee deemed as DQ, it stated 60 (well for me it stated 60). So my question is this, does the clock start from the date on the "official" letter? For example, lets say my DQ (CC) was 2/3 and I received the official notification on 2/10. So, which date should be used to estimate when to hear about an interview date?

My cc was 11 jan and still no interview. Scheduling is based on the embassy work load. I suggest you look at the spreadsheet, download it and sort it for Pakistan, you'll see the most recent waits.

Still on the same topic, if it's been longer than 30 days since CC in an embassy which doesn't seem to get behind on scheduling, would contacting a governor or congressman achieve anything? The local congressman's office was able to help me out when my file was at USCIS, and it wasn't being processed in a timely manner.

Just received the case complete email, (CC date: Feb 15th). Now bring on the interview date!

I never received my case complete email, I shouldn't worry right about it? cc 2/10 my case is already at the consulate just waiting for interview date.

Dont worry about that. You will need your P4(interview letter) with you though for access into the embassy/consulate. I never received a CC letter for my hubby's case either. I think after your case is in the consulate and once you manage to have a date, the CC letter is a moot point.

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to thank everyone for all the best wishes. I'll keep everyone who are waiting in my prayers. It felt so good yesterday when the CO said we were approved! We have waited a long time for this.

I'm hope someone can tell me what to expect next. We signed up for DHL delivery, however, I checked our case this morning and it still says Ready for interview. Shouldn't it have switched to Approved?

This was after Yesterday and after my 2nd mail.

So they didn't even look at my case with the first mail, but after the 2nd they did.

Maybe i can have some luck when i write them again Friday so they have the mail Monday

I just checked mine and it shows updated Feb-22 as well. Is that because I called yesterday?. Hope we hear some good news soon!

Hey VJ. My case just showed Ready at the ceac web page. Hopefull, I should be getting my interview appointment very soon from the embassy. :joy:
