Dwheels! So I have landed in the us safe and sound. I though have a question. Will uscis have the address I mentioned in the day 260 form to send the ssn and green card to? I am asking this because while we were dealing with uscis during the petition stage we had a different address. Our address changed from the NVC stage and we filled in the new address in the ds 260. I am just writing in to confirm that there won't be any confusion with the address as we are dealing with uscis now. Do we have to inform uscis of the address or will they have the update?

Yes, the green card and SSN will be sent to whatever address you put on the DS-260, where it said " please provide the address in the US where you want your permanent residence card mailed".

Why are my nerves so rattled. Every time my phone dings with "You got mail" and i see the dwheels mailbox and pray is this my Interview Letter. Lord I will be so through.

I see why the immigrant is interviewed face it ya'll us Petitioners would not be worth a quarter at that interview.

That date more than likely is for non-immigrant visas because non-immigrant people have to schedule their own but with your CC date I believe you will get your interview in April.

Check this out, it seems like immigrants can schedule themselves but can be DCF.

One thing for sure, you need to register. Follow the instructions to register.

Even if your embassy does DCF. You only qualify if the petitioner is a resident of that country and has consistently lived there for the last 6 months(The usual requirement for most countries). It's all about the Petitioner for DCF.

Just to confirm, you were right, you can only schedule your own interview through the website if your case was filed in the Amman Embassy (Below is the email they replied with):

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your inquiry.

You can only schedule an appointment through the profile if the case file is in Amman,

The real question is if I'll be able to get the same interview date that appears available on the website. Fingers crossed!
