Case Complete to Interview March 2016

I received a letter from NVC about change of address/email.but I never call them to change address

Any idea what's that about ?

Lord I am going cray cray trying to get this Interview package together for hubby. Lord it's like all my years of advice and help has left me.

1. Originals of all documents submitted
2. Divorce Decree
3. 2015 W2 and IRS Extension form
4. Wedding album
5. Picture album with both trips that will cover 6 months of living together
6. Since I been here 5 months no chats to submit
7. I guess can screen shot some Facebook (like boring. Isn't living together good enough)

Can't think of anything else. Any suggests? I will be outside. My husband wants to get a T-shirt made with "I am DWheels76 Husband" LOL. Don't know if Lagos ready for him. Lord father.

In your list of documents for your folder, in regards to item 1. You aren't referring all the documents submitted to the NVC (as outlined in the travel.state.gov site), correct?

Although I have yet to be scheduled an interview, I have already started preparing the folder so I want to ensure that I am not missing anything. I have a 3" binder that has everything that I had submitted to USCIS for my records, should those copies of those documents be sent as well (I'm a separate folder of course)?

Yes I am referring to the originals of the copies sent to NVC. That is required of everyone. Also any petitioners who have divorce decree. Make sure your spouse has a certified copy at interview . Many 221g's handed out lately about that.

And we are getting traditional outfits made so we look like Twinnies (hehe). Maybe have the T-shirt underneath. Show like a Superman undress if things go south.

No date yet. The March scheduling for Lagos stopped at 2/5. I am 2/9. Ughhhhh. Hoping they start up this coming thursday and friday. And praying for early early April. April 1st Friday would be awesome.

If my embassy (Amman Jordan) has a posting on the website stating the next Available interview date is April 14th, can I assume that's around the date I will get my interview (case complete Feb 15th). Or are these dates reserved for people applying directly to the embassy and not through NVC?

That date more than likely is for non-immigrant visas because non-immigrant people have to schedule their own but with your CC date I believe you will get your interview in April.

One thing for sure, you need to register. Follow the instructions to register.

Thanks for the info, (what does DCF mean?)I'm not sure how current this info is, but it would make my life a lot easier. I'm cautiously optimistic about the Jordan embassy, because they are known to have long wait times, especially due to the Syria crisis.

I've emailed the embassy's support page to ask if I can go ahead and schedule my pwn interview date, hopefully they'll have a helpful reply.

Note: I just checked Jordan out in Dwheels76's spread sheet, Jordan has a loooong wait between CC and interview date, averages 4 months.

On my first reply I told you maybe April because I was on my cellphone and I could not easily see the spread sheet.

Nope wouldn't be for your category. Since that would defeat the purpose of NVC scheduling. They take our slots off the books so tats for all their non-immigrant folks.

Even if your embassy does DCF. You only qualify if the petitioner is a resident of that country and has consistently lived there for the last 6 months(The usual requirement for most countries). It's all about the Petitioner for DCF.

Thank you. I am more nervous than my hubby. Been doing this a while have a divorce from a previous failed I-130. I wrote about here on VJ back in 2013 (sorry I had it deleted it was just too depressing) when 2 weeks before interview found out he married some girl in Nigeria. Got one of those "Hey girl I was on your husbands wall on Facebook and he has wedding pics up". Like WOW. And I lived 8 months in Nigeria with him.

Okay enough of that mess.

Hey ya'll Tomorrow is Monday. We are probably the only people on Earth so happy to see Monday. Oh please Lord make this week be my interview assignment week so I can pass out.

I believe the long wait is usually in the summer, due to giving priority to visitation/non-immigration visas. Hopefully it will be a short wait!
