Hi can you please tell me what to expect during the medical (TMI) I know, I'll also respect your wishes if you choose not to share.

No I dont mind to share . I had an appointment at 11 o'clock I was there . I was directed to the doctor's office first where she made me some question about my general health now and in the past she also did a quick check on my body. Then I had to do blood test and X-ray .after I was finished I returned after an hour to get the envelopes one sealed envelope for the embassy and one opened for the customs at my POE .

If your embassy states that, then I dont think it would be an issue if the spouse shows up. To feel safe, still try to get clarification from them :)

This is completely off-topic but I broke my wrist last week and today I finally got it in the cast I'm off for the next two weeks and I would love to go visit my husband, but his interview is in March 22 and I wanted to go then. I wrote the US Embassy back home and asked if there was a way that they could give us an earlier interview date I asked last week and they said there's no room in February, now I think if I try to expedite me case due to medical reason and hardship I might get the same answer.. God please watch over all of us.. And good luck everyone on your interviews.

Today when I called NVC the rep told me that my case has been expedited to Dominican Republic at their request on feb. 11...my case was sent out to them today and they told me the same thing as to others, that from this point on to contact the embassy in santo Domingo ...

I Checked my status online and got this "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center"

No they did not provided no interview date!?

I feel loss now on what to do next?

I read someone said that they set up their own dates????

Where at??? Soooo confusing?

Just logged into CEAC and our 17 and a half month long visa journey is finally over. Visa has been issued. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. :dancing:

When can i expect the Interview date from NVC to Islamabad Embassy? How many days more wait :clock:

Do the sent e-mail which says my case is complete? I haven't got that yet

My cc was 2/1 and I got my interview date almost 9 days after and it is for March 29. So you are looking at April interview most likely

So even with my case being "in transit" it don´t seem to have left for the embassy yet.

So maybe they only sent out Mondays and Fridays normally.

Hope we see more ppl in here the next days, so we can get the ball running.
