It's possible but at this point I already filed it, she told me to just resubmit with a new signature and today's date and all would be well. I do have a couple 1099s though. I suppose I will submit those too just in case.

Definitively, if you have 1099s, send them because you will get checklisted again for 1/2 complying.

I just posted it, here are the conditions.

1. You are the person who filed or is filing Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on Form I-130; and

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-2s provided by your employers or former employers.

On item 3. Self employment or 1099s from being a contractor does not qualify

I already sent EZ to Nvc but I m doing my taxes for 2015 and I would like to take them with my interview.since I already filled EZ with Nvc for 2014 but 2015 I have 1099 too so should I bring 2015 return with i834?

So like I said my case was sent to the us embassy in DR so once they get my case they will setup my husband interview meaning that the NVC has nothing to do with my case anymore.

It is a good idea to file 2015 taxes and bring the supporting documentation with an updated I-864 because your interview will be too close to April 18 if not later.

If you have W2s for 2015 and also you have 1099s it is OK, but keep the same format I-864EZ.

If is just 1099s alone, then you have to use I-864

Buena suerte con la entrevista and you are correct, once the DR accepted the expedite, NVC is out of the picture as soon as they send the package away.

I just got off the phone with NVC and (pressed opt 4 - confirm the date and time for the interview) the rep said that they are STILL scheduling interviews for March. She said it all depends if the Embassy will have openings for interview dates even though they schedule mostly during the beginning of the month and the end of every month. There aren't a lot of applications in the Suva Embassy in Fiji so that gives me some hope that they might have availability in late March! Really want a March interview so that we can all be together in the States by the first week of April for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Hello everyone, first post here. I had CC on Jan 11th and still no interview for Auckland, NZ. I'm hoping it's a Oceania thing and they schedule our ones this coming week. I just don't see how they could be so busy not to have a slot for me in New Zealand. I've had a look at the spreadsheet and I might be a record setter for this embassy, I sure hope not. It's getting a bit frustrating when my case has been complete for over a month, and people are getting their interviews with CC's in February. I thought EB-3 category might take longer, but again I had a look on the spreadsheet and it seemed close to the same as everyone else.

I have not seen many with EB-3 visa here, so can´t tell you how long it will be.

But can i ask you to fill out your Timeline and all information.

It will help us and site with better stats.

You can on the top of this site see Timelines etc. and that can help you get a idea about your case.

You're in the third preference category for employment-based immigration. There are a few immigrant categories ahead of you to get interview dates and the time you have to wait depends on how many these are. So it can vary from month to month. Hopefully you hear something soon.

Yes, your entire file has gone from USCIS to NVC and now it'll be moved to the embassy for your interview.

I see you had NOA2 back in mid-December and it looks like you already have case complete. Does that mean you've approved for an expedite? If so, there will still be some steps for you to complete before the interview.

Has your husband gotten his interview date yet? Would be a pretty cool birthday present to get the visa, huh?!

My case was sent to New Delhi, India embassy let's prepare for the interview bye bye NVC.... Best of luck to everybody who is either waiting for date or is in process......

People here on this forum are very supportive and I learned a lot about this process. I will post my interview review when I am done......now let's party ????

Sorry about that page 11 and 12. But it does say include all pages. Sorry. But the W2 thing. Call and request a Supervisor if you want. But since you have to already send a new I-864 might as well do the W2 if you have it. But I would still convey to a supervisor that's wrong.

Yes, his interview date is on March 14,2016, and my birthday is on that Friday.

I have been lazy updating my time line.? I applied for expedited, but they informed me that my embassy does not expect expediting requests, I have to go through the normal processing with NVC.?

You can always call up the embassy and do a general inquiry about the interview dates and time.

Don't lose hope and hang in there.
