What does "Ready" mean on the CEAC status section?

STAGE 1: USCIS

CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER US EMBASSY BOGOTA

09-08-2015 Express mailed my I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.

09-11-2015 Received NOA1 via email with a PD of 09-09-2015

09-19-2015 Received I-797C via snail mail. (NOA1)

10-21-2015 My wife came to visit me on a B1/B2. No problems at POE Miami :P

11-04-2015 Received NOA2 via email. (56 days after NOA1)

11-08-2015 My wife ends visit and returns to Colombia to wait for interview :(

11-09-2015 Received I-797 via snail mail. (NOA2)

STAGE 2: NVC

11-16-2015 NVC received our case,(12 days after NOA2).

12-07-2015 Emailed inquiry to NVC to inform them my email. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/contact.html

12-08-2015 NVC assigned case and invoice ID number,(34 days after NOA2) Case was assigned after 13:00 PM. I called at 12:30 then at 19:00 PM

12-08-2015 Completed Choice of Agent DS-261

12-09-2015 Received 2 emails with Welcome Letters for my wife and I, they were sent by ASKnvc@state.gov

12-09-2015 AOS bill became available and I paid it. (IN PROCESS)

12-12-2015 Mailed AOS and IV packages.

12-14-2015 Received via email IV bill from ASKnvc@state.gov and paid the IV fee.

12-14-2015 AOS fee updated to PAID

12-15-2015 USPS tracking shows AOS/IV packages were delivered to NVC. Waiting for a SCAN date.

12-16-2015 IV fee updated to PAID and completed DS-260

12-19-2015 Scan Date (45 days after NOA2). I called on 01-13-16 and I was told my scan date is 12-15-15????

01-26-2016 Case complete. (83 days after NOA2)

01-29-2016 Called NVC, I was informed my CO Interview will be on 03-01-2016 at 08:00.

02-02-2016 Received Interview Letter (P4) via email.

02-09-2016 Package picked-up by DHL at 15:29 Waybill 5992952011. CEAC status "IN TRANSIT"

STAGE 3: US Embassy Bogota

02-11-2016 US Embassy Bogota received my package at 10:39.

02-12-2016 CEAC Visa Status changed from "IN TRANSIT" to "READY"

02-24-2016 Lab exams at the clinic and Bio-metrics at the CAS center.

02-25-2016 Medical Exams.

03-01-2016 Interview Date (175 days after I mailed I-130) VISA APPROVED. CEAC status changed to AP

03-02-2016 Paid Immigrant Visa Fee via ELIS account. CEAC status changed to ISSUED

03-03-2016 US Embassy Bogota sends Passport and Visa package via DHL Waybill 2900131780 to Cali.

03-04-2016 My wife picked up at DHL sealed approved IV package and her passport with a stamped I-551 IV Category CR1.

Just call NVC, got my interview schedule for March 17th ! 

[spoiler]Green card I-130:Wedding date January 16th,2015 I-130 sent: May 5th,2015 NOA1: May 7th, 2015 NOA2: October 23rd,2015 Sent to NVC Nov 3rd, 2015 Received at NVC on the November 9th,2015 NVC sent letter with Case number on December 2nd,2015 DS-261 on December 07th, 2015 Paid AOS fee on December 07th,2015 Paid IV fee on December 12th, 2015 Sent AOS and IV package on December 17th, 2015 Form Ds 260 submitted on December 21, 2015. (Delay due to Ds261 showing incomplete had to resubmit) Scan date: December 21st, 2015 Case complete: January 29th, 2016 Medical examination: March 4th, 2016 Interview: March 17th, 2016 at US Embassy in Paris - Approved ! March 18th, 2016 - CEAC shows visa ISSUED March 24th, 2016 - Visa received this morning Paid ELIS $165 fee + book flight on MArch 24th, 2016 POE Chicago on April 13th, 2016  Received green card on June 8th, 2016[/spoiler][/spoiler]

 

Removing condition I-751:

Submission: 2/1/2018

NOA 1 Received: 2/5/2018

Biometrics: 5/25/2018

18 month extension letter: 8/20/2018

RFE: 2/3/2019

Congrats im gonna Call maybe i get lucky this waiting process is getting to me our wedding aniversario is the 26th of this month 2yrs i really thought we were gonna be together but everything is in God's hand

But just be sure not become too OK....sometimes you need to be persistent...I am not saying calling will help or not but at least you should be keeping an eye on the case since you have vested interest in your case not them for them it is Just a case file with a number that they have to move.... Calling every hour is obsessive but everyday after 5 PM EST does the trick for me.... Best of luck to everybody who are waiting for case complete email and interview for March...

We all do what makes sense to us. Personally once to twice a week is sufficient for me. I have been through the immigration process before immigrating to Canada so this isn't my first rodeo. :)

Hi, vj family i want say a big thank you to everyone who helped me with information how to expedite my case. I sent expedite request last Thursday and i got approved yesterday , i haven't received the approval letter yet. What's the next step?

your case will be forwarded to embassy asap.... just wait for your case to be forwarded and then embassy will contact you regarding interview scheduling.

11-13-2015 NVC received our case.

12-04-2015 NVC assigned case and invoice ID number

12-04-2015 Completed Choice of Agent DS-261

12-07-2015 Received 2 emails with Welcome Letters for my wife and I, they were sent by ASKnvc@state.gov

12-07-2015 AOS bill became available and I paid it.

12-08-2015 DS-261 reviewed on phone.

12-09-2015 Mailed AOS and IV packages.

12-10-2015 AOS fees appeared Paid.

12-10-2015 AOS and IV packages received.(30 days Email Received on 12-12-2015 - Scan Date 12-10-2015)

We're a dutch couple with a Feb interview, but I know robrom had a cc date January 16 and is a March 22 interview in Amsterdam.

oh no, 2 months between cc and interview! it takes a while here in Amsterdam :clock:

i got the case completed email on Feb the 5th, so i guess my effective cc date was Jan the 28th or so..

When I was researching this last month I went back through the spreadsheet and timelines to (i believe) 2013. There weren't a lot of netherlands cases. Most were between 28 and 60 days from cc to interview. I think I figured the average was about 42. I don't remember exactly and I threw away the paper I was working on because our expedite was approved. But even so we were more than 40 days between expedite approved and interview. I think with amsterdam it takes as long as it takes. That's all there is to it.

Amsterdam is slow and the employees are lazy, i wrote an review that the people are complaining that its boring and and they want to go home while there were 15 people in the waitingroom while only one window was open.... now i think that this might be true because dutch people complain about everything! Thats one of the reasons im leaving this s..t hole hahaha.

April 17 2015 send I-130

April 22 2015 recieved I-130 vermont

april 28 2015 noa 1 in the mail

September 21 2015 transffered from vermont to california

October 05 2015 I-130 approved at california

october 09 2015 noa 2 in the mail

October 21 2015 case recieved at nvc

December 9 2015 all mail at nvc

January 16 2016 case completed at nvc
