Does that mean Paris is full for March? Should I be finding an April Interview thread? Honestly I have found VJ to be almost as confusing as the visa process @_@ halp

I don;t know if Paris has even started. No April thread doesn't come up until last day February. We close this thread and move on over to the new April thread I will start.

Keeps everyone together and organized. Even if March was full April scheduling wouldn;t even be starting until last few days maybe of February through first 2 weeks of March.

Aged out at age 21 filed again 1999. Got married and changed preference before file matured. had to file again 2005 . Got divorced ,file changed again 2015. Such a long jouney for me. So I guess most of you would go crazy if you had to wait that long.

For me the only reason the waiting is difficult is because it separates me from my husband. If we were together I wouldn't care where we lived or how long the process took. It's being apart from someone who is a part of you that is difficult, not the process or the waiting.

You should get a CC first and then your application will be in the queue for an interview at the US Embassy in Paris.

Your CC should be soon, because they approved January 4 case.

For real. Watchin my email like a hawk. Why can't they just send emails immediately on assignment.

Just called NVC at their 7:30am on hold all of 30 sec. and confirmed CC and no interview.

It was cute the lady said "We will notify you immediately when you are assigned an interview".

I wonder if that interview email comes out directly after it is assigned, or later that day or night.

I make up to 6 calls to the NVC per day. 2 before noon. 2 before 6 pm and 2 before midnight. Again, this the only part of the process where you have no ballpark estimate because one embassy in one country might be under threat while in another they are picking their noses and watching the paint dry.

GoBucks, they admitted it comes out a few days AFTER. It is NOT immediate so, if like me, a "few days" can be the difference between a $500 plane ticket or a near $1,000 plane ticket, you call to know immediately.

Any word on Guyana and where are you guys seeing these interview date announcements?

Best you call NVC and ask specifically:

"Have you started scheduling March Interviews for Guyana?"

"Has Guyana closed March scheduling?"

See most call and just ask the generic "Is scheduling complete for March?" And it may be done for one country and not another. So make your question specific to your embassy.

Also Thomianguy you realize Nessa19 has CC 10/28 and they are still waiting? Have you checked out the spreadsheet and seen the others waiting just like you. Sorry.

Nessa19 just let me know they got March interview scheduled February 3. Sorry Thomiamguy and 2 others. Might be in for a wait.

I swear every month it's different. They should know unlike a CC email we need these letters to do our thang.

Last year March I tried to extend my stay in Guyana the week before Easter. I could not get a flight later the week after Easter either and there were no available seats on flights flights also coming in. The way things are going right now we might get an interview date around that same time this year. So tickets are going to probably be hard to get or very expensive.

I called NVC just to see where my CC email was, the very nice rep told me it automatically gets sent out 7 days after CC. She said it looks like our CC was the 4th, so a few more days we should receive it. However NVC confirmed our CC on February 2nd, the day we saw our 3 N/As. I guess it doesn't really matter. The rep again confirmed my email address, so we will see if I actually receive anything tomorrow. An interview and CC email would be very much welcome!

NVC pleaseeeeee early March. Nothing later than the 15th. hehe
