Hi everyone, especially to Dweels.

Just an update to our case. I had my interview last January 20, 2016 at 6:15am at US Embassy Manila. Just to have an idea, this is what happened. There are 5 steps in the process inside the embassy.

Step 1: Biometrics

: I was asked my name and birthday

Step 2: Pre-Screening

: At this stage, they asked for my birth certificate, police clearance, marriage certificate, CENMAR, and the lady looked at the AOS packet my husband sent me. The lady took some papers out and returned to me what's left.

Okay so i am trying to pay the green card fee online. In the case ID field when I put in the case ID, which now has two extra digits as printed on the visa, the USCIS cased ID field rejects it. Is this normal? What am I to do? Should I then proceed with filling the case ID as it was earlier without the two extra digits? Dwheels?

If your sponsor is living outside the United States temporarily, they must show:
 They left the United States for only a limited time,
 They intend to keep their residence in the United States, and
 Evidence of continued ties to the United States.
You will need to bring proof of your sponsor's domicile to your visa interview. For domicile

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial

incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular
Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.
On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to
correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aos and follow the instructions for
the Affidavit of Support form(s).

The NVC will send your case to the processing U.S. Embassy or Consulate General. Please make sure
that the documents you take to your interview are in the correct order and stapled together, as stated in

This is not a checklist but you have a conditional case complete what they are saying is you need to bring a corrected I-864 to ur interview. Did one of your sponsor on your case has foreign address if so you need to bring proof of domicile for your case at interview.

So nothing to worry about your case is complete with this condition and this is your case complete notification. Just make sure you clarify this with NVC and embassy it could be some thing not clearly filled on i864 which might have triggered NVC to do a conditional acceptance.

That part about the letter, can be that hard.

She can show Bank acc. , Mobile deal and that our son is going to stuff over there.

No date in the letter.

I just got a checklist after i have talked to NVC last week and was told that my case was done..

Is this a "fake" checklist or what..

Can´t call them now they are closed.

You do have case complete Soeren and you also have a checklist. :) For some things, NVC can give you case complete, schedule you for an interview and just have you bring the missing things to your interview. About a week before your interview, you'll get an email from the US Embassy in Sweden with what you need to bring. With this checklist, NVC is just telling you two things that you'll need to bring for sure, so just get them now and have them ready for the interview. But you have case complete, so don't worry about that. Just wait for your interview and bring those items then.

Yes, i had the time to sit down and read the email all over again.

And i can see that my wife´s Tax from 2014 and her Domicile is the problems.

So she need to get the tax2014 papers and prof that she has domicile in US.

About the last part of it.

What is the best way to go about that ?

See attached Dwheels76's spread sheet with New Delhi filtered, look at the averages from CC to IL (a column that I added) and then the averages from CC to Interview. Some entries are blank, I do not know if they still waiting or never updated their timelines.

I am not too sure about who is to blame after CC, if NVC or the embassy.

Our Queen Dwheels76 said the embassies are not involved until they receive the packages, they just send the slots.

I respectfully kind of question that, because the waiting time varies a lot among different embassies or countries but is pretty constant within a particular embassy or country, the later fact makes me believe that the embassy is the problem, perhaps dragging their feet with slots.

Or if it is like Dwheels76 said, ( she has lots of years and knowledge here) then NVC may have some unknown to us policy to treat each country in a particular predetermined manner set by the powers in charge.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwVFIroPOc02WXJjdkhsNVlNcFBBVzlZZ1RHWHhfaDB0Zjdz/view?usp=sharing

It's funny the back and forth with NVC and embassy. NVC will say "Embassy has not sent their calendar of slots". You contact embassy they say "We are waiting for NVC to schedule".

Now we know NVC schedules no doubt of that. Now the waiting around I have no clue. Wish I had Intel on that one. I do know some embassies are fast some are slow. Maybe the embassy holds on to some calendars for their own reasons.

The blanks you see are the bain of my existence. I try to keep the spreadsheet as current as I can. Unfortunately many people never come back after "I got CC". Or my favorite people change their name, so when I do go and check their timeline guess what, "NOT FOUND".

I use to add whoever filled out the form and added them to the sheet. BUt found out many people are using fake names or my other Fav their case#, their real names. So I made a rule "Not found on VJ, Not added to spreadsheet". The form that is filled out goes to a google DOC spreadsheets and sits there for me to add to the main spreadsheet. If you could see the mess and chaos. The K1's the case# people. Lord.

I try and go back and verify those who still waiting. If I go to their profile and see they have logged on recently I PM them and ask "Did you get Interview". They always respond. Some people just go away and I know many times those are denials and brokenhearted people. So sad.

Like I know the long waiting folks are the MENA's (all but Morocco) and it's not uncommon to see a 4 to 5 month wait for them.

So I am trying to get this updated and current.
