Hey gang! Has anybody using the US embassy in London changed their interview date? I made a request to postpone by around 6 weeks today using the online form, but I keep hearing horror stories about not getting replies or confirmation. I tried to call their bookings line today, but they only deal with non immigrant and direct you to the website form for immigrant visa appointments! I work on a cruise ship and am not going to be in the UK during the interview time they scheduled for me :/

Thanks! I really appreciate it! Me too! I would be soooo overjoyed! I haven't seen my husband for over a year now and he hasn't even met our daughter who is now 7 months. I will be happy when this whole process is over and we're together again. I wish you a very speedy interview as well.

Wow that is a long time not see your husband. He hasn't seen the baby but he wont have to wait much longer it just around the corner for you. It's a hard process but we hang tight and pray. I will keep you in my prayers for a quick interview!

What you bring depends on what you have already sent in. More evidence at least up to date evidence since you filed. This is the time to whip out the photo album. Don't forget the original forms. Copies of your AOS package. And re-verify your Interview letter checklist to make sure nothing is forgotten.

If you have filed 2015 taxes you will need a whole new AOS package for interview. Every bodies to take to interview is different. You may not be asked for anything you may be asked for everything or things you didn't think of. Be prepared.

have you read the Interview reviews and what people have reported?

Hiya guys, so we got our Montreal consulate P4 letter today... as opposed to the interview letter we recieved Saturday. And now our AOS shows as paid again on the NVC website and our current processing site is Montreal instead of NVC! Yay so that means the consulate has our info now yes? And I assume it was emailed over as we didnt have anything that ever said in transit and yesterday we were still showing as being at NVC. Hubby is registering at the consulate as I write this, so he is registering his appointment and for the courier service on that site. 36 days and counting to interview! I want my husband here with me so badly I can barely take it anymore. I hope y'all are progressing quickly and good luck!

Okay who's going to be stalking the CEAC site to see it change to In-TRANSIT and READY. I figure with 61 days to go I won;t see nothing for probably the next 30 to 40 days.

To the Newbies here April thread starts Monday night as we say goodbye to February. Than we roll over to the April thread and this is closed. Hang in there.

^^ Stalker over here!! :) Our status still just says "READY", our interview is in 24 days, so maybe in a week or so it will change to "IN-TRANSIT"...

Haha right! I leave 3 weeks from Wednesday to go support the man, 1 day after my birthday! Not sure what to do for 3 weeks either besides double and triple check all the documents/photos I am bringing with me. I think this waiting is the worse part out of this whole experience so far lol.

READY means it's at the embassy. You will now see the Case Status date changing every time they touch your case file.

So on the lighter side of all this, how did everyone meet their better half?

Here's our story:

I met my husband a little over 2 years ago while I was working a Horror Movie Convention in FL and he was a attending the convention as a guest. He just kept staring at me and I was like does this guy need something, is he lost lol. He finally came up to me and the first words he ever said to me was "If I had an engagement ring, I would propose to you right now". We chatted a bit and he left, I never got his a name or anything. All night I was wondering who he was and kicking myself for not even getting a name! The next day I had off from work and went to the convention in hopes to find this "mystery" man again out of the 1,000 of people. And sure enough I turned a corner in one of the hallways and me and my husband literally slammed right into each other, I got his name and he said great to see you and we went our separate ways. Then a little while later again I went into a room and turned a corner and bam, we slammed into each other again! It was like fate, like the universe was putting us together for a reason. I listened to these signs and talked to him, we hung out the whole day and been together ever since. He did eventually propose and May will be our 1 year wedding anniversary. :)

Really lol. It's been there a while now then. I thought "In-Transit" meant it was on it's way to the embassy. That's exciting, i like that it is there waiting for us! :dancing:
