The only medical stuff they want is the medical exam. The vaccination document is included with it.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant to bring TO THE MEDICAL. On the site it says to obtain the vac/medical records to bring to your medical. Also do you need passport style photos for Medical as well?

I didn't have any records so I just went to a walk-in clinic and had the shots, except for the chicken pox. If you had chicken pox as a child but no records they will take your word for it. I used Dr. M in Toronto for the medical. They only needed one passport photo.

Oops, I'm sorry. Was reading too fast!

I didn't bring anything for medical history. I don't even have a family doctor anymore (he retired, and didn't assign anyone to take over). The exam doctor will ask general questions (any history of XXX).

For vaccinations, I did bring my health passport (showed the date I had MMR). I got the flu shot and TDAP done prior to the medical, so I brought the little records of those. That was all that was needed. (I had chicken pox before, so I just had to verbally declare that I had it, and the approx year I had it).

I also had to bring 4 passport photos (Dr. Cheema in Vancouver).

Sorry about that!

Proof of Applicant's Current Legal Residence is your Swedish Passport. It is whatever document gives you the right to be interviewed in Sweden. If you are not a Swedish citizen, this would be whatever residency visa allows you to live in Sweden.

Sukie in NY

Okay, will bring my Danish drivers license and i have my Passport.

FYI - We only have Sweden on the Flag because that Denmark, Norway and Sweden all have to go to Sweden, so to get the information about Embassy´s etc. we need to to it like that.

Are you sure? I don't want to get my hopes too high. Especially after reading that the latest schedule for IR1 / CR1 visa interviews is December 02.

It's all dependent upon the available slots for Kingston, the case load and when the available slots fill up and they stop scheduling) but the spreadsheet shows that there have been interviews scheduled beyond Dec.2nd for IR/CR (prett sure) visa types (unless I missed something). Looking at it on a mobile device is kind of hard.

Time soon come!

I hope you're right. I haven't looked at the spreadsheet in awhile just as to try not let myself go crazy lol. I also look on it from my mobile device and I agree it is difficult. I would love an April interview date. I am missing the Mrs. Really bad.

Understood! I just double checked it again and the last IR/CR visa type that I see for Kingston had a CC date of 12/24. Hey...that's alot better that 12/2, right.

Trust me, I know its rough (weekends are the worst for me) but just try to hang in there and keep the mind busy. Time will fast approach. This site helps tremendously for keeping you encouraged. This road ain't easy but this too shall pass.

Hey...Look at this way...at least you are far behind the point of just sending in the paperwork and getting started!

And when you get that missing bad feeling...you know when your cup is getting empty or the car running out of gas...call, Skype, tango whatever you need to do to fill back up to take you to the next missing you feeling!

Hang in there my friend!

Dont sweat it, you have your interview set already. That date is not even relevant right now.

Got that on my interview letter as well maybe it is the date the p4 format changed.

You are right. The skype calls does help alot and knowing we have come this far helps soothe the pain of the distance. Knowing we will soon get past the torture of the distance and long waits to see each other makes me that much more excited. It does feel like the closer it comes to that day is the more I urge for it which has the days (especially weekends) feeling much longer than usual.Being on VJ helps so much. The knowledge, experience and love shown on here is absolutely amazing. Here is to hoping we all get our interviews and approvals as soon as possible. Cheers my friend.

Lol...that batch file is bringing good news to some. I'm still so excited for you. Was hoping that our names would be in the scheduled batch file but???

But it's okay...didn't come this far, to come this far. Praying that they don't run out of slots and schedule into the 2nd week of March...maybe our date will come up.

**SUPERWOMAN**

Thanks for the kind words. Now the tick tick tick :clock: of case file leaving the NVC and saying adios to them. I just love updating the timeline makes me feel like I am getting somewhere. ;)
