On ustraveldocs website it is asking for passport number.. Is it okay if i provide my new passport number which is different than what is mentioned on ds-260? Ds-260 has my old passport number.

I think you need to give them the passport you will be using and that is valid.

Hi everyone. So, I asked for my husbands interview to be moved up last week by filling out the form on London's website but still hadn't heard back so re-emailed yesterday. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to usually respond? He had his medical done yesterday so I re-emailed because I forgot I was supposed to wait until after the medical to email - and because they never had gotten back to me. His interview is not scheduled til 'March 17 but he has to work that day so was hoping it could get moved to one of the 5 other days I gave as options. If not, obviously he's going to go sick that day but I just wanted to get an idea if anyone knew response time. Thanks!

If London don´t have open days or ar not done with the dates for that time, it can take some times.

I´m also waiting to get a date moved. I´m just in Sweden.

Yes Use the New passport, they will review your old passport (if needed) when you are interviewing.

Also when you fill the form on ustraveldocs site, there will be a section to leave any extra comments. make sure you write that you have renewed your passport (mention the old and new passport numbers)

I think if you do this, then it should not be a problem

My interview got scheduled for 1st of April. Mumbai embassy. F4.

I have one query. I had submitted my ds-260 with my old passport and now i have a new one. Any precautions to be taken here? I am going to take both the passports to the embassy.

I think I've gone through my documents about 10 times lol. 8 hours until the interview! took a walk from the hotel to the consulate tonight to see where I was going! I am all set.... Now to try and sleep!
