Guys, I sent a request for expeditious processing for my daughter case on 24th. I just received an email that it was approved and that the file will be forwarded immediately to US Embassy in Haiti. Thank you Lord.

Just called, customer service rep told me case was completed on the 25th, now just waiting to schedule the interview

There's no requirement to send the packages together. Many people have to do it separately. They just would like us to send together if possible.

As far as the DS-260. The AOS and IV packages have nothing to do with DS-260. Paying the IV fee and changed to PAID unlocks the DS-260.

There are many people who pay fees and have to wait weeks and months for documents. But they have DS-260 completed.

Yup, I understand that and that makes sense. I was just sharing what a couple of different NVC operators told me. The DS-260 being submitted by the applicant/petitioner shows the system as completed on our end, but it's not actually processed until the AOS and IV packages are submitted too. They compare what was filled out on the IV Application to what documents were submitted....or something like that. So from the way it was presented to me, it sounded like it was a trifold deal. That all of it has to be submitted before they will actually process. It can be submitted individually and it will be scanned it, but they won't actually work on it until all pieces are there.

My apologies if that is not what's actually happening.

See this is how we all learn. I know me whenever I call NVC the poor operator feels like they are being interviewed.

So I first paid all fees, sent the AOS nvc received it 2/22/16 but I did not send the IV package because I needed my husbands passport it was expired.

I see that pretty much everyone sends both together. Will this create a issue or any delays? However i will send the IV on Monday or do i have to wait for this AOS to be approved before i can send his information in?

Hi,

Yesterday we payed the AOS fee of 120 dollars, it showed in process after we payed it till this morning when it shows PAY NOW again ? I call NVC and she told me to wait few days and call my bank to see if it was a problem with them. I haven't paid the IV fee yet as it wasn't available.

Does anyone experienced something like that ?
