Lol mb megabytes not mg... Silly autocorrect! And 6 days from second scan date as we had a checklist for birth certificate not being translated... Even though supposedly it wasn't required. From first scan date to checklist was 9 days.... It's so much quicker with Ep and I am so grateful.... Now if Montreal would just schedule hubby's interview!!!

I got my cc today! I saw the 3rd n/a today at work and couldn't believe it. I just called to confirm and sure enough they completed my case.

First package sent: December 18 -Fedex lost my mail

I had to re-send everything overnight on January 20.

Scan date: January 21st

CC: February 25th

35 days after Scan Date !

I thank God for not getting a checklist, I was very worried about that. My prayers for those of you who are still waiting. God is good!

So I first paid all fees, sent the AOS nvc received it 2/22/16 but I did not send the IV package because I needed my husbands passport it was expired.

I see that pretty much everyone sends both together. Will this create a issue or any delays? However i will send the IV on Monday or do i have to wait for this AOS to be approved before i can send his information in?

Any experiences

I received a text message and email today that our case has been sent to NVC. I will give them a week before I start calling to get our case number.

Case was approved 2/12/16

NVC requires both AOS and IV packets to be sent as one package as per the dept of state website. Sending them individually will only delay matters. The DS-260 will also not be processed until both AOS and IV documents have been received by them. (At least that's what the confirmation page of the DS-260 states.)

It just lengthens your process time. You now have 30 to 45 days per package instead of just 30 to 45 days. So it could be awhile. Delays yes.

You can send whenever you want. Be sure you attach the document cover page from the payment portal and put on top.

Now you have two scan dates so figure 30 to 45 days when you sent the AOS and when they receive the IV 30 to 45 days.

There's no requirement to send the packages together. Many people have to do it separately. They just would like us to send together if possible.

As far as the DS-260. The AOS and IV packages have nothing to do with DS-260. Paying the IV fee and changed to PAID unlocks the DS-260.

There are many people who pay fees and have to wait weeks and months for documents. But they have DS-260 completed.
