Hey I got a question everyone! My aos process has already been 25 days. Should I call NVC to get any updates?? I called a week ago tho.

No need to call. Just keep your eyes on ceac status for the 3 NA's you aren't even at the 30 days. Right now NVC is on 1/18-1/20 So you probably have another week or so.

K1 Embassy Interview

Horrendous Experience.

Inappropriate Questioning to beneficiary. Race, Gender, Age, and Human Rights Violation and Discrimination.

The CO Assistant had the mobile phone retrieved from the beneficiary's Father who was waiting outside. No mobile phones are allowed in the building. She called random family members from the phone without permission to do so. This is illegal.

The CO Assistant used Facebook as a means of ineligibility. Facebook is not a legal binding document or letter of intent to marry.

No one from the Embassy has responded to my requests for information.

Is there a reason you are digging up every bad scary review and posting here. This really isn't the place for that. Peoples nerves are raw enough .No need to internalize other peoples issues and problems. Immigration is very personal that's their story not yours.

I'm trying to say this as politely and respectfully as possible. Oh my gosh! Seriously....you need to take a breath and relax. you're making it more complicated and stressing out than need be. Every case is different. What happened to one person doesn't mean it's going to happen to you. you're looking at a review for a case that's K1 in New Delhi when you're a CR1/IR1 case for Mumbai. Even that is besides the point....Focus on getting all your documents ready and sending that to your husband so he can get everything submitted when it's time. Stop looking at all the negative and start focusing on what you need to be focusing on. As long as you have your stuff together it can be smooth sailing for you.

We learn from each other's mistakes and reviews, not dwell and internalize them. At this rate, you're going to give yourself an ulcer before this whole thing is over.

The more you read about the process the more you will understand what is expected and how to prepare.

I got my cc today! I saw the 3rd n/a today at work and couldn't believe it. I just called to confirm and sure enough they completed my case.

First package sent: December 18 -Fedex lost my mail

I had to re-send everything overnight on January 20.

Scan date: January 21st

CC: February 25th

35 days after Scan Date :)!

I thank God for not getting a checklist, I was very worried about that. My prayers for those of you who are still waiting. God is good!

Thanks. How long before you guys got your CC from your scan date? Someone suggested between 7-14 days. Feel better soon.

Lol mb megabytes not mg... Silly autocorrect! And 6 days from second scan date as we had a checklist for birth certificate not being translated... Even though supposedly it wasn't required. From first scan date to checklist was 9 days.... It's so much quicker with Ep and I am so grateful.... Now if Montreal would just schedule hubby's interview!!!
