Carolrp825, that really sucks. I really feel for you. Please share what your checklist is for so those who haven't filed yet may learn from it.

Sure, the guy told me that the form we sent was dated 2015 and they now have an updated form with the date 07-31-2017:

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864.pdf

I told him that we sent the form that was available at the time but all he said was they now require the updated ones.

I got a checklist for I-864A part 5. There is a part to print the name and sign, but I had typed the name. I was also missing proof of my relationship to my father who is my co-sponsor/household member. From what you guys have seen from other members, do you think it will really take another 30-45 days?

i'm sorry you got a checklist too! Fingers crossed they process our corrections fast! I had to correct I-864A part 5 where you have to print your name then sign. I typed the name. I also needed proof of my relationship to my father who is our co-sponsor/household member.

We also received a checklist on January 7th and we got our CC on February 19th. So you have to wait again 30-45 days. I was really bumped about that... It is worth the wait though. Good luck on your journey.

Just looked at the I-864A part 5 and getting a checklist for that is really harsh! They should NOT have made the form so that people can type the name, if they didn't want people to type it. Doesn't make sense. Sorry Carolrp825.
