I never received an email either and had to call. It will take between 30-45 days from scan date to case complete. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply :) so if I called to confirm, they said they scanned it, then email won't matter??

Hi friends, how Do I submit photographs when filing EP? Do I just scan them?

If you read CAREFULLY, photos are not to be sent to NVC. They are to be brought to interview at the embassy.

Hello. So I just called NVC and my husband sent my documents on 13th feb. and the girl on the phone said I cannot tell you when we receive them but it takes time for us to get it into our system. So you can call on Monday to check.. Do they only tell you when they start scan or tell you also when they receive the documents? Please let me know guys

This is so demotivating:(... Why is it taking so long .. So much confusion :(

They will not tell you when they received. You should be able to track with your shipping method. Yes it does takes times sometimes but at the same time if you are lucky you will be scanned at the same day. Remember 15th they were closed so technically if you mailed on 13th they wouldn't have received the docs until 16th only if you send it via overnight shipping.

13th Saturday

14th Sunday

15th Holiday

16th - Tuesday

Mine is also the same day - 16th. And as per to my conversation they claimed that they are backlog with mails so they hope that they will sort it out by Monday (so i am assuming that they actually work on Saturday and/or Sunday) Once they confirmed scanned that means they have received the documents and that is the only way you can confirm from them.

Hope this helps. I am in the same boat waiting for my docs to be scanned.

I've heard the NVC would rather talk to the petitioner than the applicant.

Not true, they will talk to either one or agent as far as you answer their security questions.
