Hi everyone,

Those who filed EP, did you send one email containing separate identified PDF files for both AOS and IV packages? I called NVC and the agent has kinda hesitant with her answers. I read the instructions and FAQs and that's my understanding. Thanks

Oh she also told me not to include the cover sheet. Your thoughts?

According to these links:

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/documents-scanning-faqs.html

My understanding is ONE email, one PFD for each document.

The cover page as far as I know is for snail mail and has a barcode to track the packages, not for EP.

Ok my husband sent two separate emails one with the AOS package and one with the IV package. He included the cover letter AND receipt letter in each file. Lol and that's how the person from NVC told him to do it when he called!!! So I think he had a different person on the phone!

Ha! The complete opposite of what I was told earlier. Thanks though :)

You second my thoughts. I think I will do as instructed on the site to be on the safe side. One email for both packages with individually identified files. Thanks for your input.

I respect what Flyawayfree did, actually including the cover sheets does not hurt. Definitively I prefer one email as the NVC site says.

So I was told this morning that regardless of when our scan date is, EP or snail mail, the packages will just sit there so long the DS-260 hasn't been reviewed. Sigh...
