Well my wife rang NVC just now (she's been calling everyday for the past week). And to our surprise, they had the case number. I just logged in and the ds-261 and aos invoice were already available too. So we did both and just waiting for the IV invoice to be up now.

Things are moving along nicely. God I can't wait until all this is over, exciting times.

Hi All--

First, I am amazed by how much information and support I can see from this site. Thank you for creating this forum.

Second, I am not sure if its okay to post my concern here as the subject title says February and my scan date is Dec 28, so I apologize if I'm messing up the convo here.

I just wanted to reach out to anyone who has the same or close to our NVC scan date. We received an email from NVC saying that they received our papers last December 28th and that we need to wait for 30 days. I know a few from this site who has same scan date and their case has already been complete, yet to this date we haven't received any feedback for our case (aside from the generic response from NVC hotline that our process is under review already... )

we were also told that process may take 30-45 days rather than just 30 days.

I guess, I just want to know if there are also people out there who shares the same experience..

Awesome news today--I logged into the CEAS website and saw our 3rd NA, and just got off of the phone with NVC who confirmed that our file is now Case Complete as of today, and they are just waiting to hear from the Montreal embassy for available dates.

These forums have been an incredible source of helpful information--thanks to everyone who runs them and to everyone who's responded to my previous questions. Good luck to everyone--hope your CC comes soon!!

I am also just as confused with the processing status. My scan date was Jan 19th....how is it that some persons seem to get preference over others :wow:

Was there an expedite request in there somewhere??
