This is my first post in here.. I got approved NOA2 dated 25th January. I have recently paid my AOS and IV fees and planning to submit my docs by the end of this week. The process at NVC doesn't seem to be that hard and long.

One questions the list sent to me has criminal record listed apart from Police certificated. Is this typical to all of us and no need to fill in anything or am I required to apply locally for some kind of record which is nothing.

I am not sure about this.

Does anybody has an answer to this?

I think it´s if the Police certificated show something you need the criminal record. If not

The Police cert. is fine.

Just remember it need to be signed so get 2, one for NVC and one for Interview.

No need for two, just get one and send a copy to NVC, keep the original for the interview.

This is true but all the countries we had to deal with, just getting one was a challenge. If the authority is willing to give you two that's excellent, but no need to expend extra effort or money to get two official ones.

Hello! Our case was approved on 8. Feb. My husband also received the mail. So my problem is that my husband is "busy" with working. So he doesn't search all the time. When I tell him what I learn from these forums he just says I'm overthinking and it makes me crazy. I didn't see the mail but he said it says they will contact me, not him. Also it says we should wait for 30 days to call them or smth. I don't know anything and since he's "busy" I'm a bit afraid. What should we do? Please help me... Thank you in advance

And they have no problem giving 2 copy of it.

I can even just walk in and be out after 5 min.

NVC process is pretty quick... call these guys and check for your case and IIN numbers.

They should be available by now of in couple of day. I guess you dont have to wait for anyone.

at this point either of ylu can call and check and get details from NVC.

Just be on top of these things. and you will have an awsome ride through this journey.

I guess you are lucky. We have to pay and are not allowed to have 2 at the same time. Guess what, the certificate we get here is only valid for 3 months.

My husbands first name had a typo error .Uscis had it corrected on the notice .But nvc has not yet .I submitted all the docs .Is this something to worry about?? We have emailed nvc. But no reply.
