oh ok, maybe you will interview in dar then. i know nairobi is where most people in east africa have the immigratio visa from. if you know your case number that will help you. if it starts with NRB u will be going to Nairobi.

Oh so that's how you know, cool. Mine starts with DRS, which I believe stands for Dar Es Salaam ?. Thank you so much, learning so much. What was your scan date dear?

That was wrong info for your embassy. I thought you were Jamaica. I do my research and I keep a spreadsheet for the last 4 years. Your embassy I have no idea how long. Not many coming out of your embassy.

Wow, thank you so much. That's spreadsheet is so helpful. It's always good to have some type of idea, haha I was beginning to freak out when you said 150-170 days ???????.

Thank you again for all your help. Hopefully it wouldn't take long at all. Thanks ?

We got a checklist for some documents we already sent in with the IV packet, so we re-submitted them in January (actually the third time I've sent this set of documents, once to USCIS for the I-130, and second time to NVC). There was a notification that said to give them 30 days to review from the receipt date, etc. etc.. I've been calling to check regularly the past two weeks, but now that's it's almost 30 days I keep getting this canned answer that the review might take up to 45 days from the phone agent, and everyone refuses to connect me to a supervisor. Anyone else get a response like this? We're so frustrated, this is just arbitrarily adding time to our case because of the NVC's incompetence, and now they can just go and change their review timeframe after the fact?
