Got CC on Feb 4 yet no email from NVC yet. I called them today to check on when will I receive it and was told that I am already set up for an interview on March 23, 730 AM MNL time. :)

Now that is a GOOD NEWS!! :)

Today is officially 30 days,since my case is at NVC .Now I am thinking to call them or wait till 45 days... :idea:

Shorena, I'm right behind you with tomorrow as the 30 day mark. Here's hoping for good news, and soon!

Hey,

following this topic since our case got approved on feb 5th (still waiting for the NOA 2 via mail tho) and i´m impressed by all the helpful info in here :-)

I think thanks to your input and the guide on the NVC website i´ve got everything we need. Just one more question (for now):

On the NVC website it says under "Collect Supporting Documents" that i need 2 passport pics. Do i need to send them to my husband (who is going to send the AOS and IV stuff to the NVC) or just bring them to the interview? This point got me confused.

I see a lot of people are getting approved and CC´s these days. Congrats to all of you! :dancing:

Many thanks for your feedback i will send them a copy tomorrow itself to avoid delay. I was born in India and the document was issued by the Indian authorities. Whilst the document is in English it is handwritten and not an easy read. It does not include my mothers name will this be an issue?

It's strange not to see the names of both parents name on the birth certificate. I wouldn't know the answer to that, It would be best if you created a thread with that questions so that you can get some answers from VJ experts. There are several Indians on this website, I'm certain one of them has the answers to your questions.

Don't know what you mean ".I found it after the closing timing". They are open until Midnight Eastern Time you know. And maybe the person that was working your case worked over if you wee watching your status every second.

I guess no one is really focused on the exact minute it happened. :goofy:
