Hi...I was just looking at your timeline and was curious. NVC received your case, you got your case number, IIN and submitted your DS-261 all in the same day? Which also allowed you to pay your AOS fee the very next day?

Actually I wasn't sure when NVC received my case, I had forgotten. I just put the date that I got my case number and such. Wasn't sure to leave to blank or put a date in there.

Sry, don´t know about F2B, but if you want most out of this site, please fill out your timeline with all the information you have.

But we can´t tell you if a checklist will mean that you can or can´t take the papers to interview.

It´s all about how vital the paper is.

Im glad there is someone else with a second scan date. I'm feeling so down and frustrated about it especially since mine is totally out of my control. My first scan date was december 31st. NvC noticed a mistake in their system of my husbands dob, so they had to rescan our docs, and gave us a new scan date of feb 1st. i was devestated, and just as we might have been close to a case complete too. Anyway wishing u all the best, and hoping u will hear good news this week :D

General question for all, in the case of those given a second scan date does the clock completely reset to another 45 day wait time? or is it a bit quicker.

I know exactly how you feel, my original scan date was 11/20, on my 41st day (Dec. 31st) I received a checklist for an I-864a. And from my understanding, yes. The time completely resets to 30-45 days. However, last month someone posted saying they spoke with a person at the NVC who said for Checklists the time it takes 'shorter'. But I am not so sure of that.

Guys, So I sent my AOS & IV packages to NVC(in Jan), without the police records (the police office wouldn't release it and would only send it to the Jamaican embassy). I called NVC, they told me it's fine, and that this wouldn't have an impact on my case. Have you ever heard of any cases like this?

Yes this happens with some Police Depts in certain countries because my PCC was sent directly to the US Embassy too. Don't worry, like the NVC CS rep said it will not have an impact on your case.

Anyone on here got a checklist or CC with a January scan date?

Moi scan date - 8th January

Doesn't look like they have quite broken through to January fully. My scan date is also January 8th. I suspect either this coming week or next week is our time.

Can anyone tell me which cover sheet to use? I got one in the original email from the NVC. This one has a detailed checklist of what to include in the AOS and IV packages. I got another cover sheet after paying the AOS fee that has the NVC address in large bold letters. Not sure which one to use or which one to put on top if I use both. Thanks.
